Top Cartagena Boat Rentals

Tour guide, Carlos Moro, was an absolute delight. His knowledge of Cartagena history was astounding and he brought the past into life as he shared incredible stories about some of the most famous landmarks in this UNESCO world heritage site. We arrived at port and went through the Oasis gardens (give yourself time to check out all the tropical birds, sloths and turtles). We were met by Carlos and a driver. We were asked if there was anything specific we wanted to do- and we said we would like to go to La Cevicheria- a favorite restaurant of Anthony Bourdain. We drove to several historical sites, walked around as Carlos was providing the narrative and importance of each site. His presentation was so vivid, and he also used an iPad / map to help us visualize where we were in relation to the site. We went to the old town for our ceviche (absolutely worth the hype) and really enjoyed looking at the architecture of the homes. Stopped at Emerald Station where I purchased a beautiful band. Cesar, our driver, was amazing as he navigated the traffic. He often rolled down the window if we passed a colorful scene, so I could snap a few photos. We even passed a wedding. We always felt safe and were so impressed with our Viator experience. We will be talking about our excellent day in Cartagena for years. History buffs will especially love this tour. Bravo.

My family absolutely loved our boat tour of the Rosario Islands and Baru! Alejandra was our guide and she was so friendly and sweet to our kids. On our tour we drove an hour out to Rosario Island (Isla Grande) and we rented snorkels and saw so many beautiful fish. It was such a fun experience. Then we went to an upscale beach club for relaxing and lunch PA’UE Beach Lounge. The prices were fair there and food was great. We relaxed, kayaked and paddled boarded. Then they took us to a last stop in Baru in the mangroves where we saw tons of friendly raccoons where they come up to you and you get to feed them! I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes! The kids loved it!! After this, we rode back to Cartagena. The ride was bumpy but not terrible. Would definitely recommend this tour!

we were met at the port and taken to meet the bus at the monastery , there we joined the tour led by Benny and we really enjoyed it. The tour lasted 4 hours and he made sure we saw all of the itinerary on the trip with a great informative commentary. He made sure we were well informed about times and got us back to the ship in good time. We really enjoyed this tour, it gave us a good look at the old and new parts of the city and a glimpse of the history and we got to see as much as we could in the short time available. There was plenty of time for shopping and photo opportunities. I'd recommend this tour.
