Top Capri Day Trips

Vincenzo was great. He met us at the ferry ticket station and guided my wife and me on a great tour of the Isle of Capri. We first went to the harbor where we grabbed a boat to the Blue Grotto. Seeing this icon was wonderful. We then went via a convertible taxi to Anacapri and took the chairlift to the mountain top where we enjoyed the best views. We came down and walked through the center of Anacapri and then headed to Capri for lunch at a great restaurant overnight the harbor. We did some sightseeing and eventually went back. The whole tour was great!

We took a private two-hour boat tour with Ciro, which proved to be the perfect duration for our visit, as we preferred not to wait in line for the Blue Grotto. The meeting point was clearly indicated and easy to locate with the directions provided. We were fortunate to have excellent weather and calm sea conditions throughout the excursion. For those who are prone to motion sickness, I would recommend taking Dramamine beforehand to ensure a comfortable experience. Our skipper, Ciro, was highly professional, knowledgeable, and skillful in navigating the boat, allowing us to get close to key landmarks and enjoy the beautiful coastal views. Overall, it was a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

If you are lucky your tour guide will be either Teresa or Giorgio. We got Teresa. She made sure our entry to the Blue Grotto was expedited as did Giorgio. After the grotto Teresa showed us around the island. She was the most authentic guide we had in Italy. No matter how long your stay in Capri, a trip to the Blue Grotto with Teresa is a must.

Nico was fabulous. Took us to all the sites. The line was too long for blue grotto so we made the strategic decision to skip enjoy the rest of the sites. He came stocked with everything we needed. Snorkeling was fun along with him hooking up our phone via Bluetooth for music.

We had Ciro as our skipper earlier this afternoon and he is absolutely amazing. He was very informative, got us close to all the caves and sights around the island and most importantly took so many (amazing!) photos of us during the tour. We really appreciated it. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

This private boat tour of Capri was the highlight of our trip! Our boat operator, Giovanni was a pro boatsman. He did not rush, told us so much about local culture of and gave us plenty of time to just relax and take in the sites, enjoy cocktails on the deck and soak in the sun. A storm did roll in the latter part and he was adamant that we depart Capri back to Sorrento a bit early and we trusted his judgement entirely. This allowed us to anchor closet back to Sorrento for the last 90 minutes and soak up the sun. Right after docking, the storm rolled ok and the bay was rough. Grateful for his care but it changed nothing about this being one of the best days ever!

What an incredible, once in a lifetime experience to have in Capri! Francesca, the boat owner / tour operator, was wonderful. She was accommodating and friendly, and very responsive! She proactively reached out to me to ask if we wanted anything specific on the boat. She ended up providing us with pastries from a bakery as a welcome treat on the boat, which added a wonderful personal touch! Towels, water, beer, and snacks (chips) were also provided to make us more comfortable! Our boat captain was Massimo who was fantastic! We chose the 3 hour tour and Massimo really knew how to maximize our time well. He gave us the stories and history about the island, the caves, etc. Unfortunately, the day we went the Blue Grotto was closed due to high tides, but Massimo still took us by to see it which we appreciated! He also took us to the best places to swim. The boat provided goggles and pool noodles for us to use in the water if we wanted as well! He also allowed us to connect to the Bluetooth speaker and play music. It was great because enjoyed similar types of music! Massimo had a great balance of engaging with us, and giving us the space to enjoy moments together just the two of us. He even requested that he takes pictures of us so we didn’t even have to ask. He was a fantastic guide / captain! This was by far our favorite part of visiting Capri. I highly recommend booking this boat tour / ride!

We decided to book this tour last minute and we are SO glad we did. We only had one day in Capri and we wanted to make sure we saw the best of the island. This tour achieved that goal and more! The tour guide Dominico was so helpful with transportation and recommendations around the island. And the boat tour to end the day was just the cherry on top! If you only have one day in Capri, this tour is a MUST!
