What are people saying about Cairo

Really good day and experience
We spend a beautiful day with Ehab. He took time to explain us all the stories about the Pyramids, but also leave us quite free to enjoy the view near all the different spots. 15 minutes Camel walk were enough, and the quad also was nice. Just one thing, the quad company doesn't like women to drive.. The four girls in the group had to have a chaperone on the front luggage rack. He didn't always let them drive the whole way, which is a bit of a shame.
Except this, the day was great, and once again, the guide was really perfect !

Day full of fun, laughs, and excitement!
This was the absolute best tour I've ever taken! Karim and Sheddi were the absolute gentleman and they are both very knowledgeable! Spending the day with them felt like spending the day with family! I look forward to touring with them again. The tour was fun, we learned alot, the atv ride was very nostalgic. Loved the camel ride. The food was amazing, we found a few awesome gems during our shopping experience. We also enjoyed the dinner cruise!

Mido best guide ever
I had an unforgettable experience sailing on a traditional felucca, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Mido. From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel welcome, relaxed, and completely taken care of.
The ride itself was peaceful and beautiful, with stunning views and a calm atmosphere—but what really made it special was Mido’s friendliness, knowledge, and sense of humor. He shared interesting insights, made sure everyone was comfortable, and created such a positive vibe throughout the trip.
If you’re considering a felucca ride, I highly recommend going with Mido. He truly goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable. This was easily one of the highlights of our time here!

Exceptional Cairo Experience with an Outstanding Guide, Bisho
We had an amazing experience with Bisho as our tour guide—truly one of the highlights of our time in Cairo. He is incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of Islamic and Coptic Cairo to life in a way that was engaging and easy to understand.
What really stood out was his professionalism and flexibility. He adapted the tour to our pace and interests, answered every question with patience, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire experience. His sense of humor and positive energy made the day even more enjoyable.
Bisho clearly goes above and beyond to make the tour special, and it shows. From the beautiful mosques to the vibrant Khan el Khalili market, everything felt seamless and well-organized.
Highly recommend this tour—and especially Bisho—if you want a memorable, insightful, and stress-free experience in Cairo!

O.u.t.s.t.a.n.d.i.n.g!!!...
O.U.T.S.T.A.N.D.I.N.G!!!
My husband and I booked this activity on our first day in Egypt and it hands down exceeded any expectation my imagination could conjure. Mohamad Hisham was our guide and our driver was Hassa; they picked us up from our hotel right on schedule. After all 6 travelers were picked up we traveled through Fayoum. Along the way Mohamad shared cultural insights about the area and the people who lived there. Once we arrived in Wady El Rayan, we hit the Sand dunes by 4x4 and that was an adventure! Our Sand Bashing driver Muhammad (a different person) made sure we felt how wild and free the desert can be; at times it felt like riding wild waves of sand. Next we went Sand boarding, rode camels by a body of water that led to a WATERFALL. If you didn't ride camels you could ride a horse or go on a boat ride. We then took panoramic views on top of mountains by an oasis and concluded our time in the desert by having BBQ in a Bedouin nomadic campsite. They offered to take our photos while we lived in the moment and even guided us on some creative poses. I thought that was the end of the tour but we then traveled back to Kairo and learned how papyrus paper was made as well as Egyptian incense and perfumes (Bonus activities!) Mohamad, Hassa and the rest of the team were so hospitable and incredible. What added to the experience was that they each seemed to really enjoy the work they did and had strong rapport with each other which made the day really fun. I could not recommend this tour enough and am so glad we got to experience it!

great day at the pyramids and Sphinx
We had a fantastic day with Fady and we went for the pyramids, Sphinx and also inside the great pyramid.
Since we just skipped camel riding for personal reasons we decided to walk and had a really nice chance to get a even better feeling of the pyramids and the amount history in front of us. We were able to enjoy all the impressions We would do it all over again. We ended the tour with a nice lunch. Thank you for the great day!

Well-organized tour with great guide, but weak communication and food
Overall, we were satisfied with the excursion. We were picked up from the hotel at 3:30 AM and the driver was punctual. However, until the very last moment we did not know who would pick us up or what vehicle it would be, despite asking several times — including shortly before 3:30 AM. The communication definitely needs improvement.
In Luxor, the driver welcomed us with a sign from Emo Tours Egypt. We were taken to all the scheduled places, but overall there was not enough time to truly enjoy each site.
At the restaurant, we ate the food not because it was tasty, but because we were hungry. I would honestly prefer the tour to cost €615 instead of €600, but to include a genuinely good restaurant with quality food. The waiter greeted us wearing an extremely dirty shirt, stained with food and drinks, which made a very poor impression. The only thing that was actually good was the baklava.
At the alabaster souvenir shop, we were asked $25 for a small candle holder. We did not buy anything there. Later, we bought the same items at Khan el-Khalili in Cairo for $5 each.
We are truly grateful to the driver, Hossam Al-Aqsar — a very kind and professional person — and to the Egyptologist/tour guide Mohammed El Tahibe, who explained everything in great detail.
Tip for travelers: buy your own water (it is cheap, around 10 EGP) and bring it with you. The three tombs in the Valley of the Kings are more than sufficient; the Tomb of Tutankhamun is very small and not worth it, as all artifacts are now in the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Great tour of Egyptian food and local life!
We had a great time with Muhamad on our food tour. He showed us some foods that typical Egyptian families would eat and gave us an amazing tour that really gave us an idea of typical life in Cairo. We particularly loved that the tour included driving through the bazaar and through the neighborhoods that most tour guides would skip; It really gave a unique perspective on Cairo that I don't think we would have otherwise experienced. The lunch restaurant had a truly amazing view of the pyramids.
Overall, for the price and the experience, this was an excellent way to spend a day in Cairo!

Witness the trial and error led to the Pyramids of Giza
By joining this tour, I was able to experience the trial and error of reaching the Great Pyramids of Giza. I chose the driver-only plan, and my driver, Mr. Abdullah, was very kind and humorous and we had a great time .He even helped me purchase my ticket at the rickety ticket office. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Great tour
We really loved this tour. The guide was absolutely fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and informative, he shared a lot not only about the sites we attended but overall about Egypt life. He spent a lot of time with us - over and above the schedule. The lunch included was quite nice. The driver was nice too.
They will take you to the 3 shops called bazaars, cotton, perfume and papyrus. Don’t buy there because it’s more expensive. We had 2 other tours all raking to the same shops. I bought from papyrus shop but realised at Egyptian museum it was 4 times cheaper. But presentation was very interesting - definitely check it out but don’t buy.
The sites included in this tour are very beautiful and not to be missed

A fantastic cultural learning experience.
Our tour guide Ahmed was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The driver Sayed bravely and safely piloted us through the crazy Cairo traffic. I think the highlight of the trip was the visit to the two mosques in the citadel, along with the friendly discussion with Ahmed about the cultural and religious beliefs and practices. A wonderful learning experience. As expected, the Egyptian museum was fascinating, made even better with Ahmed’s insightful explanation of what we were seeing. The Khan el-Khalili Bazaar was interesting, but pretty much full of the Chinese mass-produced trinkets you can find at any tourist spot. The highlight here was enjoying a Turkish coffee break with Ahmad and watching the crowds go by.

I would highly recommend
Our guide, Isaac, and driver, Hamza, were both friendly and welcoming throughout the tour. Isaac was especially knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable and informed at every stop.
We explored the rich history of Coptic and Islamic Cairo, visiting remarkable sites like the the Hanging Church and Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Isaac also kindly helped us capture memorable moments by taking photos along the way.
