This was a great tour! We loved our tour guide Hadeer. Our guide & driver picked us up from our hotel for our private tour. Loved our driver too, very safe. We headed to the pyramids and she gave us so much good information she was very knowledgable. We had more than enough time at each spot and the camel riding was so much fun! Our camels looked happy and like they were well taken care of which was very important for me. We went inside of the pyramid which was not included but I’m happy we did it. Very hot and not a lot of room but when else will you be in Egypt at the pyramids! Would definitely reccomend this tour to anyone coming. It was so nice having someone who knew their way around & we could focus on enjoying.

I had a wonderful experience with Mohamed! He arrived early for my 9:00 AM pickup and was friendly, polite, and welcoming from the very beginning. He made sure to get me water as soon as he picked me up and continued making sure I had fresh water throughout the entire day. Mohamed was extremely knowledgeable about the pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, and the history of all the sites we visited. At the museum, he knew exactly where to go and made sure I saw the important pieces and highlights. He explained everything in a way that was interesting and easy to follow, and he was always happy to answer my questions. He was also funny and very easy to talk to, which made spending the day together genuinely enjoyable. I was traveling solo, and he helped take so many great photos of me throughout the tour. I’m not very good at knowing how to pose, so he would suggest poses, angles, and the best spots for pictures, which I really appreciated! What stood out most was how much Mohamed went above and beyond the actual itinerary. I mentioned that another tour I had booked had been canceled and that there were a few things I had hoped to purchase during that tour. He took the time to bring me to reputable places where I could find what I was looking for. He even offered to help me find the personalized hieroglyphic gold jewelry I wanted, but unfortunately I had another commitment and ran out of time. He also recommended great Egyptian food for lunch. Throughout the entire day, he was attentive and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Mohamed was knowledgeable, communicative, funny, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience in Cairo. I would absolutely recommend booking with him, especially for solo travelers and first-time visitors. When I come back to Egypt, I will definitely be booking with Mohamed again! Thank you for making my day in Cairo so memorable.

I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Mimo! He studied Egyptology for years, and is so knowledgeable about history, architecture, tradition, and culture of Egypt - from ancient civilizations to modern day. He was communicative, prompt, and gave very clear instructions, and was very transparent about what was and wasn’t included in the tour, which made it easy to navigate the many different stops. Between the pyramids and lunch, there were many stops at local businesses you could make to learn about papyrus making, kartoush jewelry, spices, Egyptian cotton products, and essential oils and perfumes. At no point did it feel like a tourist trap nor was I pressured to make a purchase. Though I did end up with some excellent souvenirs and gifts for family and friends. I hope anyone interested in coming to Cairo makes a point to book a tour with Mimo! Our driver Emad was also prompt, professional, and kept my belongings safe while I toured the various stops.
