Definitely recommend for solo traveller english speaker and safe and clean and clear communications!
Guide was very professional and stern and helpful even when fellow england tourists were being pain throughout the whole journey, the guide kept his calm and explained situations and kept the journey safe and playful and entertaining and i did not get a chance to thank the driver and guide as i was rushing at the end but i am very grateful to the guide and bus driver for making the journey fun, educational and very comfortable! Very knowledgeable guide and to help navigate back to the meeting spots and throughout the whole journey ample amount of information and instructions provided via emails and viator app messaging, clearly and concisely and i wish i had the cash to tip the guide and driver for their amazing work! Bucharest walking history tour.
This is an excellent tour for first time visitors in Bucharest or if you have been here before but didn't get to do a city walking tour. Our guide was Ed and he really filled us in with fascinating history behind all the places we visited! Brought the fall of communism to life so much that we practically felt like we were there! Excellent value for the money.

When in Romania go to Bulgaria for a day
This trip is long, but worth it. Rodica Canciu, our tour guide, was informative and has pictures to help one understand the trip. Within 5 minutes from her presentation, I could tell that Rodica was a teacher. She and her driver were very patient on the road and with the tourist. She gave us time to see what we needed to see and gave us good restaurant recommendations. She is very knowledgeable about the sites we saw on the tour. Though the entry price to the Nativity Church is not included in the price of the tour, the tour stopped there. I paid the entry price. I am very glad that I did, as it was my favorite site on the trip. The interior paintings are spectacular and Rodica's story of the Church is very interesting. In the town where we had lunch, I found a silversmith, a pen-and-ink artist, and a ceramist, all in their individual stores practicing their crafts. In my travels to over 50 countries, it is often difficult to find local artists still practicing their craft. I was elated to be able to speak to these craftsmen. Because the bridge over the Danube was still under construction and there was a national holiday, our return trip to Bucharest was 5+ hours long. This was the only downside of the trip, and it is my understanding that the construction will be completed soon.

Castles in the forest and mountains with beauty
Peles Castle is amazing and should not missed. Dracula Castle it’s fun to see and doesn’t necessarily need to be toured on the inside. Brasov really wasn’t anything incredible but it did add time to the trip. I would definitely do the trip as a private tour as opposed to a big Bus tour.

Bucharest is a multi-faceted European capital that has, in many ways, modernized rapidly since the fall of the Soviet Union. But it retains an old-world flavor that makes it a favorite among travelers. Learn about Romania’s complex past with history-focused Bucharest tours, then sample the city’s specialties on a food-focused walk and see major attractions like the royal palace. There are even excursions to popular tourist destinations nearby like Transylvania and Dracula’s Castle.
