We had a wonderful experience on our tour to Pisa and Florence and wanted to share our appreciation for the team who made it so memorable. Rishi was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history and culture of Pisa and Florence. His insights brought the city to life in a way that made the experience both informative and enjoyable. Giovanni complemented the tour beautifully in Florence, and together they created a seamless and enriching experience. We’d also like to recognize Fabrizio, our driver, who ensured we traveled safely and comfortably throughout. He was courteous, professional, and attentive, making every part of the journey smooth and stress-free. One small note of feedback: the pizza at the lunch venue recommended by the tour company was a disappointment. While the restaurant may be known for other dishes, we had expected a standout pizza experience—especially given we were in Italy, where pizza originated. Overall, it was a fantastic tour, and we’re grateful to Rishi, Giovanni, and Fabrizio for making it so special.

You need to see this -along with everyone else

This is a fantastic, educational experience. You have to admire a process that can handle 300 visitors per day, every day of the year, and still keep the cave in great shape. The water is even clear. The cave is dripping with beautiful formations and crammed with historical artifacts, and our guide did a great job of bringing it to life.

So worth doing! Don’t miss this! It’s excellent!

This is the only way to go to visit the statue of David and the Duomo. Our guide was so well informed, and the information I received, I would never have known had I not gone on the tour. It was also wonderful that we skipped all the lines and had some pretty private time in the chapel. We got to tour the chapel when you had to have a reservation to get in. Our guide was not only well educated she was very organized and I was amazed how smoothly we flowed through everything.

Climb or Not, Best Tour With Kids to Skip The Line

I can’t say enough good things about this tour. I read previous reviews about skipping the line and that was my main concern traveling with 2 children under 3. We walked right in the cathedral via private door and had a brief tour from a very knowledgeable guide. She walked us from the back of the cathedral to the dome explaining key points. Then she escorted us to a staircase where we could start the climb. There was no one else in line for the climb and my husband and I went right up. On the way down, I counted maybe 200 people going up to the dome and realized we had a pretty unique experience not having to wait in the dome climb line either! Only 2 of the 6 of us made the climb and it was still worth it just to skip the cathedral line and walk have a private tour.

Absolutely Worth It — Fantastic Dome Climb with Greta

This “Skip the Line” climb of Florence’s Duomo was one of the highlights of my trip. The experience was smooth, well‑organized, and genuinely unforgettable. What made it even better was our guide, Greta. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Florence’s history. Greta kept the group moving at a comfortable pace, shared fascinating details about Brunelleschi’s engineering, and made the whole climb feel fun rather than overwhelming. Her explanations brought the cathedral to life, and she answered every question with patience and insight. The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking, and skipping the line saved so much time. If you’re visiting Florence, this tour is a must. And if you’re lucky enough to get Greta as your guide, you’re in for an exceptional experience.

Majestic View: Highly recommend!

Highly recommend the tour. And the majestic view in particular. We had an excellent guide. Very informative. The climb to the secret terrace was challenging but manageable. I was able to make it to the top of the duomo. The climb was steep. The view at the top and on the terrace overlooking the landscape of the city was all worth it. Magnificent view from the top if you are willing to climb the stairs.
