What are people saying about Belize

Great excursion
Our family (13 to 65 years old) really enjoyed the excursion. It took a little over an hour to get to Altun Ha. . There were road works so it was slow going, but it was great to see the scenery on the way. Altun Ha was really interesting and Jose gave us a little tour with insights into the ruins and Mayan culture. Because of a knee injury we rented a collapsible wheelchair from the cruise ship. Altun Ha was really accessible (if someone is willing to push) because it’s compact and flat. The younger and more able were able to climb up the ruins which was exciting for them. On the way back to Belize City, we stopped at a traditional restaurant and had a great meal of chicken rice and beans. Jose also stopped by the road to buy some bananas to let us try. On the way back to the port, we drove through the city centre and Jose pointed out the interesting colonial buildings. All in all a great half day out.

One of the most amazing experiences
Richard did a wonderful job guiding us through this incredible experience. The ATM cave experience is unlike anything I’ve ever done before in my life. Expect to wade across rivers, hike in the jungle, swim in chest-deep water, scale rocks, and see amazing sights you will not see any anywhere else on the planet. You do not have to be a top athlete to engage in this activity, but it is very physically demanding. It is really worth the effort to make this happen. I would recommend wearing a rash guard and full leggings, as there are many moments when you are shimmying and scraping your way between rocks

Top Two and they aren't number two!!
This experience was so much fun!! Anna and Captain Charlie were the perfect hosts to our adventure. We lucked up and didn't have to share the boat with any other guests, which made the sailing even more special. We always felt safe in the water and on the boat. We saw so many sea creatures!!! It was by far one of the coolest experiences. Drinks were flowing, the meal was good but the ceviche was PERFECT. The only thing I wished is that we were able to stay in the water longer but I understand they have to follow reef rules. Because of this experience, I will always go snorkeling on a trip if it's an option.

This was such a fun...
This was such a fun adventure. Our guide Giovanni was awesome! Took us to three different waterfalls where we were able to swim relax and take many pictures. Then he prepared a traditional Belizean lunch right on the pontoon for us. Grilled chicken, sausage, veggies, potatoes, beans and homemade tortillas. There were refreshments too. It was a full day tour surrounded by nature and wildlife and we enjoyed it very much.

Al and EJ made our trip...
Al and EJ made our trip incredible! We were able to experience many areas near the reef with only our small intimate group. The scenery was spectacular. Our guides went above and beyond to make sure we had the best access, the best timing. They got us onto all the swims and adventures so enthusiastically. Their knowledge of this area put us exactly where we needed to be, right when we needed to be there. When we got to the end of the day, we were running a bit ahead because of their knowledge. Zero pressure to move faster. We got to spend as much time as we wanted at each location. But rather than return us early, they gave us a private tour of several sights on the way back. 10/10 would book with them again, requesting these two. Will do so on our next trip back.

Best guide EVER
Omg this was so great! Angel was the PERFECT guide: he took his time, showing us things that other guides rushed past. There was a member of our group who struggled with balance so he was always there to hold her hand and help her across certain spots. Finally, he was so well informed: we learned so much about Mayan history as well as modern day Belize. We can't recommend him enough..

Tikal in April from San Ignacio
The tour started in San Ignacio our driver was very nice and walked us through the border and customs section in Belize. Prior to separating he pointed out our Guatemalan tour guide from a distance. Once through customs and border checks our Guatemalan guide Levi walked us through the same process on the Guatemala side. Once we arrived at Tikal Levi was very knowledgeable and his passion for the history of the site made the almost 6 mile walk with almost 71 flights of stairs seem less intense. The trip was amazing to see both uncovered and still yet covered historical structures. Our guide also walked us through the area where celebrations and cultural Matan events are still held to this day. The provided meal was phenomenal after so much walking.

10/10 recommend - lots of history and wild life plus homemade food!
My partner and I had an unforgettable experience on the river and ruins tour with Ian. Ian spotted so much wildlife along the river which really got us excited and he was knowledgeable of the history of the area which made the ruins tour very interesting. There is also an enjoyable museum at the Lamanai site. The lunch was homemade from Ian's mother and it was delicious. The whole process was seamless even though we were traveling via van and boat. There were bathrooms at every location as well. Every person we encountered was kind. The car ride back to the hotel rocked us to sleep so the nap was a nice addition to the trip haha. We loved the experience and definitely recommend it to folks interested in nature, wildlife, and Mayan history.

Friendly and efficient ride!
Our driver was on time and the ride was comfortable and quick! It was so nice to have this planned ahead of time so we didn't have to worry about getting a taxi the morning we check out to head to the airport. The driver was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a ride to/ from the airport.

Seamless transition from...
Seamless transition from pick up to drop off in Guatemala to head to Tikal. Tikal itself was amazing. Probably the best Mayan ruins I’ve ever seen. It’s incredible how you can climb a bunch of the structures to this day. I loved seeing temples above the trees from the tops of other temples or pyramids.

We all really enjoyed...
We all really enjoyed cave tubing. Wasn't too sure what to expect, but so glad we did it. It's about an hour's drive from the cruise port. The walk through the rainforest and gentle trip through the caves on our tubes with helpful and knowledgeable guides was amazing and unlike anything else we experienced during our cruise. Highly recommended.

Take this tour with Percy!
Percy was an amazing guide! He took the time to explain the history of Altun Ha and the country of Belize as well. The ruins themselves are impressive and you can feel the history of the site. The Belize sign was just a great photo opportunity! And the Travelers Rum Factory was a good time, plus interesting to see the bottle production through the viewing window. We did pay extra to add ziplining to our tour, but this was amazing. The guides Manuel and Wilfredo (Fred) were fun patient with us 2 scared ladies. Again, Percy was awesome and it was a fantastic tour!
