We were lucky and were the only ones on our tour! Jose was our tour guide and he was absolutely incredible. He took our interests into consideration to customize the tour for us. This was a really cool experience and totally worth it. The tour was 3 hours long but it was plenty to see the Mayan ruins. Xunantunich has so much history and our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about he Mayan culture. The views are also beautiful. We also saw spider monkeys and Iguanas.

Amazing!!!

Jose was our guide and he was awesome. First we did the tour of Zuantunich, and it was amazing. Jose explained the history of the Mayans and the site and knows so much about it, and the plants in the area. Then we did the cave tubing part. It was a beautiful cave, and we got out of our tubes and hiked around a lot in the cave, and we did some jumping not the water. Fabulous. Jose was a great guide; very knowledgeable and fun!! Highly recommend!
