A must do in Belize!!
Magdeleno was a great guide. This is an absolute must-do! It exceeded every expectation I had and was one of the most incredible experiences of my trip. It was definitely more physically challenging than I anticipated, but every step was 100% worth it. The adventure is unlike anything else, and the payoff is unforgettable. One tip: bring a pair of thick socks, as you'll be walking without shoes for a significant portion of the tour. Trust me—you'll be glad you did!

Mayawalks & Francis were top notch! Highly recommend!
Can't say enough positive things about this tour experience! Francis was so knowledgeable about the archaeology and nature of the jungle. He made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the cave experience. The ATM tour was so memorable and so much fun while also being informative.

Francisco was an amazing guide so knowledgeable and friendly. He was passionate about the caves and the archaeological significance of the Mayan artifacts and the history of its people. Five stars!!!

Great experience in ATM cave with Dimas!
Dimas was a fantastic guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. We are not athletic and were nervous about the cave. Dimas did a great job telling us where to step and how to safely get through it. The inside of the cave was unreal, unlike anything we ever have seen. You are so close to the relics, and it feels otherworldly! Definitely a must do in San Ignacio!

  • Cameras are not allowed inside the cave.

  • You will be in the cave for about three hours, navigating some very constricted, confined areas; because of this, it’s not recommended for people who suffer from claustrophobia.

  • Bring water shoes, socks (you will need to remove your shoes at one point on the tour), and an extra set of dry clothes, socks, and shoes.
