Overview
Experience the fun of tubing through ancient caves on this private tour, which includes transportation to and from your hotel and lunch. You'll drive from your hotel to the rainforest, where you’ll hike for about 20 minutes until you reach a river. You'll then hop aboard an innertube for a floating adventure through natural caves.

We had an absolutely amazing time on this cave tubing experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Kenton, truly made the day unforgettable. His personality was incredible—fun, engaging, and welcoming—and his knowledge of the caves and pride in his country really stood out. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, which made the entire experience even more special.
Floating through the caves was both relaxing and breathtaking, and having such a great guide made us feel comfortable and taken care of the whole time. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!
Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and memorable adventure—we will definitely be doing it again when we return!

This experience is absolutely lovely! Out tour guides, Kenton, and Jimmy are so sweet, so knowledgeable and are very friendly and helpful. They provided pickup and drop-off to our hotel. They made the entire experience so fun!

We met our guide, Kenton at the cruise dock and drove to the cave site. We opted to pay $5 to have our inner tubes taken up to the caves since it was a rocky and very warm walk. We received life vests and helmets with flashlights attached. When we arrived, Kenton and Peter tied our tubes together and took us in the refreshing water. The cave was about a mile loing and they pointed out all the beautiful sights (stalagmites, stalactites, interesting formations and of course the tiny bats in the celing). Everything was so fascinating. Afterwards we enjoyed a chicken tamale lunch. Kenton was most knowledgable on the whole country and obviously enjoyed his job.

Do yourself a favor and book this tour! Jimmy was our guide and he was exceptional - he was knowledgeable, entertaining, and overall a great guide. The tubing was a great experience and we even got to see a toucan! The tamale lunch was also fantastic.
We learned that the local Belize run tour companies are facing challenges with bigger companies getting contracts with the cruise ships so please, support local and book with 5 Star, you won’t regret it!

The travelers have to have comfortable shoes. The scene was spectacular. The guid was friendly and took into account the asge of the group (retired persons).

Beautiful sites to see. Tour guides were amazing. You have to walk a little but its not impossible. We didn't pay the extra fee for them to carry our tubes because it seemed pointless to us. Overall this was so nice, and relaxing.

We had an amazing time! I was traveling with my family of 6. Our guide, Manuel, was particularly fantastic. He was patient and kind. We enjoyed the hike through the jungle and the cave tubing was amazing. If you forget water shoes, bug spray, etc, everything is available for rent or purchase at the first stop. Just know that water shoes (or crocs) are mandatory. You cannot wear flip flops.

Yet another amazing excursion booked thru Viator. This company was responsive and accommodating. We had the absolute best guide, Peter. He was extremely knowledgeable about his beautiful country’s history, very kid friendly, and patient. My kids absolutely adored him. Lunch was simple, but good. The ride to and from the activity was smooth and comfortable. Book this excursion and request Peter if you can!

The trip from the port is a little bit of a distance, but well worth it when you get to the cave. Everything was well planned and we returned to the port in plenty of time to board our ship! Thank you Pete and Chester!

Great experience! All of the guides were very informative and friendly! One of them helped my daughter (who was in a walking boot) cross the river without getting her boot wet. Highly recommend 5 star tubing! They were very responsive and provided great service.

Read a few reviews and most were positive, but a lot mentioned the time to get there, the walk and the time spent. While I'll admit it wasa drive, based in the country tlthat should be expected. It was a comfortable van and not over crowed. The walk was just that, a walk. I've walked further to my seats at a profootball game. The actual tubing was fun and they are small groups. The company 5 star was great and had a good process for making it all worth while. If you want to do something to just have fun and not complain, this is definitely for you.

Excellent tour guide. They are warm, professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to the group needs. This was one of the best experiences we had in Belize.
Bring the essentials: towel, water shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and swimsuit.

The cave tubing itself is AMAZING. While the drive to the site is long and uninspiring and you might be wondering if you made the right decision, the ride through the caves (and swim in the refreshing water) will convince you that you did! It is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind experience. We'd have rated this a 5 until our driver made two weird stops on the (already long) way home, first to a "rum factory" tourist trap, and then to a department store tourist trap. The tour description made no mention of these, and both stops were completely lame. I guess you need to take the good (fantastic tubing experience and delicious tamales afterward) with the bad (very uncomfortable van, long drive, lame stops). The good was very good.

We really loved this experience. I would recommend it. It’s a bit of a long drive from the port. There is a nature walk through the woods that is a bit rocky, and you do cross the river a few times. It was worth it.

Absolutely incredible experience. Probably one of the best excursions I've done on vacation. The guide was super informative and taught us all about belize's history, the use of medicinal plants, and pointed out all kinds of wildlife on the hike to tubing through the caves. The experience was indescribable and this company is top-notch.

Our guides Daejon & Aaron were exceptional!!! This experience was a first for my family and it was well worth it!! They were knowledgeable and friendly… they took care of us and made sure we were safe and had fun! Many memories were created on this excursion. This was our favorite activity while in Belize. Kenton was more than a tour guide, he was the absolute best! He gave us a detailed history about the area, took amazing pictures, made sure we felt safe, and also had a fun relaxing time! & those tamales were absolutely delicious after the tubing experience. Definitely bring a pair of water shoes or shoes you don’t mind getting wet and prepare to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride through the cave!

Where do I begin? Kenton was knowledgable about history and the current information of Belize. He made us feel more like guests than tourists. The drive went by quickly because he is such a great conversationalist. He shared stories and told us what was along the way. Once we arrived at the the cave tubing spot it was flawless and easy. Kenton lead the way and we followed. The nature hike was amazing and we went at our own pace. Once at the river Kenton set us up we got wet before we hopped on our tubes. This float down the river is indescribable. You have to experience to BELIZE (lol) it! I highly recommend this tour and Kenton. You can thank me later!

Our guides were Kenton (sp?) and his son (I believe operated through Butts Up). They kept us engaged throughout the tour and were extremely knowledgeable about their country. The hike was minimal impact, the water ride was very serene and visually stunning. It was an excellent experience and you cannot skip over this. You will not be disappointed.

Great trip! Be prepared for a long drive to reach the cave/river. Once there be prepared to carry your tube through the jungle' in lew of carrying your own float tube you can pay $5,00 to have it carried. Be sure to bring and wear water shoes as they are required and needed. Although the drive is far (almost an hour) it was worth it. Our family of four ranged in age from 13 to 78 and all enjoyed it
