Our motorbike and sidecar tour was really great - our guide Tierry was brilliant and told us loads of information about the area and anything we needed to ask about the battlefields and cemeteries that we visited along the way. It was a great way to sample the Normandy coast and all the little villages that we passed through whilst enjoying the freedom of the motorbike and sidecar. It was a wonderful tour with a very nice and friendly guide. We visited many sites which are specific to where Easy Company landed and fought. The tour stopped at other important D-Day sites and the guide accommodated a rest stop when a few of us needed to use bathrooms. The guide was knowledgable.

The half day tour included 3 stops and they were incredible. Our tour guide, Lucy, not only had beautiful, long fingernails and could park on a dime, but she was so pleasant and knowledgeable!! We really enjoyed her presentation (it was like she had years of theatrical training 😉)! Seriously, she was a sweetheart! The sights were AMAZING!!! The tour gave us a new level of appreciation for what took place here all those years ago. Thank you to all the soldiers.

Excellent Tour with a Canadian Perspective

Great tour of the Canadian WW2 landing sites in Normandy. Our guide Stefan was very knowledgeable and thorough, arrived on time, the lunch spot he chose was excellent, vehicle was great — he answered all of our questions and provided albums of photos with many interesting details about the Allied Landing from June 6th 1944 on to the end of the war. We visited a number of sites including the Juno Center and bunkers, Gold Beach, Abbaye d’Ardenne, Commonwealth Canadian Cemetery. Highly recommend this excursion to those especially interested in the incredible efforts and sacrifice of the Canadian soldiers of WW2.

This day was an amazing experience, it was so well organized and our guide Mathieu was extremely knowledgeable and kept us interested all day. He was personable and shared so much, answered questions, provided stories about events as well as facts . He was willing to expand on areas our group had the most interest in. He joined us at our table for lunch and that was wonderful, most guides have not in my experience but we found it to be a great personal touch. Matthew was a great tour guide! His knowledge of and respect for the events of D-Day made the tour wonderful. I do wish we would have had a little more time at a couple of the sights but that is to be exii of expected when you do a half day tour. My only recommendation is to do a whole day tour if you can. This tour was excellent for our situation!

This tour is not for the faint of heart as it covers so much history, both heroic and tragic. Our guide, Faustin, was amazing. His historical knowledge was superb and he guided us with respect for the subject matter as well as good humor. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him.
