Had a nice sunny day to experience a drive up Montserrat. Jaun was a great tour guide and provided some nice insights into the history and culture of Barcelona. He was entertaining and definitely made the tour much more enjoyable. Highly recommend the tour and be sure to request Jaun as your guide.
Despite being restricted from some activities due to local fires Juan added a walk through the museum, recommendation to ride the cable car down and even drove us around to see the north face.

We loved our tour of Montserrat! Our guide, Juan, was so knowledgeable of the area. The only disappointment was that we were not able to ride the funicular because of the high fire danger in the area! Highly recommend seeing Montserrat!

It’s fabulous!
Jesus is extremely knowledgeable. He knew so much about the history of Montserrat Monastery, but also the flora & fauna along the trail.

Monserrat is a much see! This experience allowed us plenty of time to experience the culture and beauty of the church while also allowing us to experience the beauty of the national park surrounding it. Jesus, our guide, was perfect. He was knowledgeable, patient, and entertaining. I could not have asked for a better experience! Do this tour!

The views are breathtaking! The "gentle" hike was not so gentle for some of us, but our guide was very accommodating and paced the group for the two of us that had to take breaks (due to head injuries). I highly recommend this tour.

Very informative and fun. A little bit of everything, Basílica, Montserrat detailed overview and a great hike. Our guides were phenomenal with their knowledge and fun facts. We had two small groups which was perfect to hear our guide with only 8 people per group.

Our guide was wonderful! He was considerate of the passengers in the car and drove conservatively. No fast turns, a gentle ride all around. It was very important considering all the switchbacks on the road.
He was very informative and made sure we were all there when moving to another area. We would highly recommend Juan!

We did the 8:00am tour with Frank. He is so incredibly knowledgeable about the area. We were originally hesitant to choose this tour because many reviews were from those 70+. We are in our 30’s and we were similar members in our group and had a great time. Perfect weather and the walk down from the top of the funicular was enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking. By the time we left it was crazy busy but because we got there early we got to enjoy it slightly quieter.

The funicular was sooo fun! Only a 6 min ride but VERY steep and mind-boggling! Our guides, Jesus and Jordi, were kind, good drivers, and full of information. We truly enjoyed hanging out with them for the day. Highly recommend this tour to get a taste of Monserrat. You can't see it all in 6 hours, but you'll see a lot and have a good visit.

Our guide for this trip was Frank. A 50 ish minute drive out of Barcelona to Monserrat. Arriving the clouds covered the valley which was awesome to see, a pure memory moment. Breath taking. Franks knowledge, passion was simply brilliant. He captivated the tour group with historical stories. We would never have got this level of detail from walking around ourselves. He kept saying, come this way you’ll get a better view, go there you’ll see this. Always on hand to answer questions and talk. A great guide, who clearly knew what he was talking about. Monserrat is a gorgeous monastery, filled with history and stunning buildings and scenery. I’m so glad we booked this tour. Frank was fabulous.

The drive went smoothly. Mother nature decided not to wake up and kept her sleepy eyelids closed =!-lots of fog. & unable to see mountain views. Due to prior rain some rocks falling, funicular was non operable. The sun did come out towards the end of our hike. The monastery & surroundings are beautiful. It was a good day nonetheless.

Phenomenal! Our guide was knowledgeable and reassuring when weather looked bad that the sun will come out. The funicular wasn’t working so we walked up to the cross and it was invigorating. I’m 72 yo fairly fit female and made it!

I can’t say enough good things about this experience. Our guide Geordie was absolutely fabulous! If you are in decent shape, don’t be afraid to do the full walk. I am 73 and had no problems.

Jordi was a great guide for the tour. We ran into a scheduling issue with a funeral at the Basilica, and horrible traffic leaving the city, but he effortlessly rearranged the order of the day to make it work perfectly. He was very knowledgeable and obviously very familiar with Montserrat. The location was stunning. Very highly recommend!

It’s a lovely experience. The guide is knowledgeable and gives interesting information on the ~1 hour drive to Monserrat, and of course, when at the mountains. It’s not rushed, so you also have plenty of time for photos and reflection. I visited on an overcast day, and it was still beautiful to see. The furnicular is nearly vertical, which I wasn’t expecting. Stand at the front of you want the best views.

Juan was amazing! He was so knowledgeable, kind, easy-going, and also kept a great pace for the tour. My mom and I agreed it was the best tour we had in Spain ( and we had many). The perfect mini escape from the city with the perfect combination of both nature and history. You don’t have to be a great hiker to enjoy. We first went to the monetary and then took the funicular up and hiked down about 1 hour at an easy pace. Would highly highly recommend.
