Best visit to Montserrat with a super tour guide!

This was our 2nd visit to Montserrat. This tour was by far better than our last. The main difference was our guide. Javier, “Javi”, is the best. His knowledge of the area, its’ history, coupled with a great sense of humor really personalized the tour and made it fun. Javi is someone you should definitely try to keep. Our 2nd, and best, trip to Andorra. This tour was excellent. It took in sights we had never visited before such as the French fort. All of this was made better by the knowledge and active participation in our group. “Leno” is an excellent guide and has a background and knowledge of the area that brings this past alive. We had a fantastic day on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. From the very beginning, Tony provided exceptional service. He picked us up from our hotel promptly at 8:30 am and safely dropped us back around 5:30 pm, making the entire day completely stress-free. Throughout the tour, Tony was enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He shared fascinating stories about Girona’s rich history, its medieval heritage, and how the city has evolved into what it is today. His explanations were informative, engaging, and delivered with a great sense of humor. Our visit to the beautiful medieval town of Pals was another highlight. Tony showed us the best viewpoints and photo spots, making it easy to capture those perfect Instagram-worthy pictures while also explaining the town’s history and unique character. The afternoon at Calella de Palafrugell was the perfect contrast—a charming Mediterranean seaside village with crystal-clear water, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of time to enjoy the beach. Some guests even had the opportunity to go for a swim. Tony also recommended an excellent local restaurant for lunch, along with some delicious regional dishes, which added another memorable experience to the day. With only five people in our group, the tour felt relaxed, personal, and flexible. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy each destination at a comfortable pace. This was one of the most enjoyable day trips of our one-month European journey. Thank you, Tony, for your outstanding service and for creating so many wonderful memories. We would happily join another tour with you in the future! Highly recommended!

Andorra on your bucket list?

If a quick easy visit to Andorra is on your bucket list then this is the tour for you. There are plenty of stops for quick sightseeing and and a snack. The bus was comfortable and the tour was only half full so plenty of room. Berta our guide was friendly and knowledgeable with a good mix of guided tour and free time. Jorge our driver was competent and felt safe on the winding roads. We had just over 2 hours in Andorra which was enough for lunch and some shopping. Andorra is a tax haven so some really good deals on cigars and cosmetics/perfumes. We were stopped at the Spanish border and asked about our purchases so listen to the guide on limits. Overall just what I was expecting and and had the opportunity to see Andorra on the cheap.

As the title says, I was blown away by this tour. It was a small tour with myself, 2 other people and our guide. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we learned about the history and culture of the villages we saw, and to help us feel comfortable. At the end of the tour we all hugged - honestly I have traveled for several decades and this was the first time this has happened. 5 stars.

Aaron was awesome as our tour guide. I’ve done many tours and he definitely is one of the best. He used the drive time to give us the background of the site and Barcelona. The monastery was fantastic and as a Catholic awe inspiring and truly moving. He ensured we were prepared to observe in the Basilica since guides are not allowed to speak. It revealed fantastic details easily missed and added meaning that enriched the experience. 5 stars.

My college-aged daughter...

My college-aged daughter and I were glad we booked this during our time in Barcelona. Fun to get outside of the city, rub elbows with people from around the world, and enjoy some luxurious scenery. The boat ride between towns was a highlight of the day. Guides were attentive and made everything super easy. Only regret was not coming equipped to swim in the warm waters of Tossa Del Mar! Not sure what we were thinking!

Don’t book on a Sunday since there’s mass you don’t have much time to visit the inside of the church. Check the hours of Sunday Mass and reserve your time accordingly.. Views are amazing our tour guides did an amazing job. Jurdi, Carlos, and Judith and another young man as well forgot his name.
