The scenery is incredible, our driver, informative, but the crowds were crazy. There’s very little personal space if you go on a weekend… Consider a weekday and maybe it’ll be better.

Louise was awesome. He was kind caring and attentive. Even though It was a shuttle, he made it a mini tour guide. The entire process pickup and communicstion, the company everything was top of the class. A worth trip and got the best of the views since we were on time crunch and got to see both Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Thank you so much team Banfftodo and Viator

Great way to see the main lakes when you don't have a lot of time in Banff. Unfortunately, the bus driver was late so we lost some time.

This half day visit provides ample time for a good look at both lakes. On time pick up by friendly driver. We chose a pm departure to hopefully avoid the worst of the crowds.

Pretty good, exactly on time! 1 hour in Lake Louise and 1:10 hours in Moraine Lake. The driver was very nice and waited for us for a couple of minutes, although we were late.

Easy way to visit Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. The pickup spot was convenient to where we were staying in Canmore.

I gave 4stars for only the itinerary time is limited that we couldn’t spend more time and do activites at the park however I recommend to have a bus tour to get rid of parking stress and recommending for the easy access and guide till pickup and drop off

We had booked for a morning trip and was told the day before it was cancelled due to mechanical issues. We were given another slot 6 hours later. While I am happy we did not lose the trip entirely, we had to replan our entire day which impacted our experience. The driver was fine and an hour at each site is good for a taste. The smoke was heavy and very difficult to see the mountains that day. Not anyone's fault, but between the day being rescheduled, smoke filled mountains and tipping expectations in addition to the tour price, the park and ride option will be taken next time.

This tour was advertised as using a shuttle bus. I asked what the seat belt situation was and in their response the company told me that they didn’t know which bus would be assigned that day, but that all buses had either shoulder or lap belts. Less than 24 hours beforehand, we received a message that van 141 would be our transportation for our trip. No where did it state that a van might be one of the options. I asked if car seats were required and/or provided. No one responded. When we showed up for the tour, the driver told us that they sometimes provide car seats, but they didn’t send a van with them that day. I purchased an infant and toddler ticket, so not sure how this wasn’t addressed. It was also never noted that we should bring our own car seats if we wanted our kids in them. Passenger vans are statistically much less safe than buses. Had I known I would be expected to put my children in one unrestrained prior to the 24 hour free cancellation, I absolutely would have cancelled the tour. We didn’t end up going because of safety concerns. I called the company to ask for a refund and while they acknowledged I was right in all of my reasoning, they refused to provide a refund. So basically they changed up the advertised venue after the free cancellation period then refused to provide a refund when we didn’t want their new, unsafe option. Completely ridiculous and terrible customer service. Run away fast.

This provides access to the lakes only. No time for canoe rentals. Pack a lunch. As long as you’re not expecting a “tour guide” around the lake, this is perfectly fine. Tip the driver. 10 CAD per person. Don’t be cheap

Not good . They cancel last min our actual time and than when we booked they said it’s 5-6 hour time and each lake they gave us 2 hour but they only gave us 1 hour.. 🙄🙄🙄

While the itinerary was good, our "tour guide" was only a bus driver. Other reviews of this trip all raved about their tour guide who was informative, interesting and told lots of stories. We got total silence except when we arrived at our stop and he announced what time we needed to be back on the bus. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake were gorgeous!

The driver/guide is not fluent in English at all and he did not provide much guide for the whole trip. He is only concerned about the tip and he even requested $10 tip per person. The trip started about half hour later 8:50 am (originally scheduled at 8:345 am)

At CAD $80 per person, this compared very favourably to some of other tour operators. Our driver, jazzy had a really nice sense of humour. We got to spend plenty of time in Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. All in all, a good trip

Bus was on time and we went to both lakes. He allowed us time to walk around the lake viewpoints. He was very polite.

Shuttle service was very good. Driver was at pick up point on time and got to and from Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. The lakes themselves were not what I expected. They were not the rich blue waters that you see in pictures nor could you see the mountains in the background. Instead, we were greeted with smoke filled skies caused by the forest fires. If it weren't for the smoke I am sure that the lakes would have been as beautiful as the pictures I have seen.
I would still recommend the shuttle trip for those who want a short, 1.5 hour, self guided tour of the lakes. There is time to go inside the Fairmont Hotel at Lake Louise and a short walk down the lakeside but not enough time to get something to eat at the hotel. The same can be said for the stop at Lake Loraine except you might be able to get a quick bite at the small restaurant.
For us the time at both lakes was enough but if you are wanting to take one of the long walks at the lakes then you will need tour that offers you more time.
Hope that if you go the skies are clear and you experience the blue waters of the lakes.

Comfortable bus and efficient driver. Easy meet up at local hotel. We had a 1 hour 15 minutes at each lake, as described in the listing. Good value for the money spent.

Excellent way to see the sights; plenty of time at each location. Lake Louise was really busy! When at Moraine Lake, take a little time to take a side trail away from the water... you may be the only person in the trees! Please don't litter; pick up any litter you do see. Thanks!

The lakes were great. But the bus doesn’t give you near enough time at either one. At Lake Moraine we got off the bus. Walked to the end of the trail and back and had to hurry back to catch the bus in time. Definitely would not do this bus again. Would rather find one that actually lets you spend some time at the lakes.

This was fine. But calling it any kind of “tour” is not accurate. It was simply a shuttle. Our driver Jazzy only spoke to us to tell us when to get back on the bus.

Communication about the trip beforehand was good: it clearly explained pickup place and time and bus number and urged us to be in time... Unfortunately, no bus when we showed up. About 5 minutes after appointed time we saw the bus with the correct number coming... and driving by. In the end, it took almost another 30 minutes for the bus to finally arrive. Driver did not greet any of the passengers nor explained his delay. Instead he put up a Jackie Chan DVD on the buses video screens. So far our tour guide. He uttered no more than a few sentences: mainly to tell us when to be back for the bus.
Both lakes are beautiful but the massive number of people clogging the roads, trodding outside the allowed paths and posing for selfies take away from the scenic beauty.

The bus driver show up about 30 mins late and so the already short time visit to Lake Louise and Morraine lake cut shorter.
I need to email viator to let them know that the bus is not on the pick up location yet, and they have to call the bus the driver to check whats going on.
Not recommended.
