A must do when in Athens

Excellent must do when in Athens. Transfer from hotel to port and back was smooth and timely. Boat was comfortable and lovely. Beautiful views. Was able to swim at Metopi - a majestic experience. Professional superb service. Food was DELICIOUS. Coffee, tea, water, wine all provided. Great hosting and music. Space for everyone to spread out. Just go for it. A must do. Extra notes, restroom clean and available on boat. They will deserve a tip and they only take cash so something to keep in mind.

Just book it!

This tour was absolutely fantastic. Our guide Maria was wonderful and so knowledgeable about the monasteries and their history and the rock formations. She also was great about managing our time at every stop so we could fit everything in - 3 monasteries and 3 photo stops is a lot to fit into the day. I thought there was plenty of time at each stop to see what you wanted to see. The bus ride is long but it was worth it and the bus was pretty comfortable. We did get lucky with it being off season (early April) so the crowds were not terrible and we had very little traffic which helped keep everything on time. But Maria was also flexible - if a photo stops was crowded, we skipped it and came back to it at the end when the other groups were gone. It’s a truly stunning place and one of my favorite things I did this trip. I can’t recommend it enough.

A perfect start to a perfect weekend in Athens

We took this private tour the first morning of our long weekend in Athens and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. As a family group of 7 it seemed like the best tour to do. Giannis our guide picked us up first thing in the morning and the Acropolis was our first stop. I strongly recommend that the Acropolis is visited as early as possible in the morning to avoid the crowds and (if applicable) the heat. The guide gave just enough information before he dropped us off and that left us free to meander in our own time around this truly remarkable archeological site. The rest of the the trip was a really fun tour round the other important sites and things to see. It was spot on for setting us up with a general feel and appreciation of the city and is perfect for anyone passing through or on a short stay. Giannis - our guide was super friendly, well informed and very flexible. 10/10

10/10 Would do again!

It was a decent amount of walking and up an incline with some steep parts and stairs as well. It wasn’t too slippery for us on a nice day but if it’s raining then it could be extra slick as well. It was a very great experience, our tour guide was very informed and gave us a great overview of the history of the area and culture. She was very lovely and made the tour easy to follow along with and gave plenty of opportunities and tips of when and where to take pictures!

Had a great trip with Dionisis. He’s a Uni student with a clear passion for Archeology and History. The tour is well laid out. He purchased tickets for us to main attractions so it was really easy for us to feel like ViPs and skip the lines - all done at our pace, lot to review in 8hrs - but never felt rushed and very relaxed. He was thoughtful kind and vet helpful. Even had a few surprised that I will not ruin for others - but would highly recommend, please add to the review some of the main tourist attraction, Acropolis, Zeus, pantheon, Gardens etc

Great tour

This was a great tour for all age groups of the Parthenon and Acropolis. Our tour guide pointed out items that appeals to both adults and kids. She blended the right amount of the Mythology, and history into the tour. She also allowed time to take pictures on the walk up and even suggested great places to take pictures. We went to the museum and were provided great explanations of the artifacts and she specifically took us to the kids section and pointed out the Lego model and some key pieces.

Such an amazing tour! Not only did the driver provide helpful information, but the tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and offered great recommendations—from restaurants to places to visit. Every question was answered, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was also lovely to see the natural thermal lake—it made for a perfect short break during the journey. The temple was absolutely amazing, and the amount of time we spent there felt just right. I would totally recommend this tour!
