This was the highlight of our trip. Rachel and Michael were fantastic guides. It was a very well organized, well-paced tour. We learned a lot about the food culture in Athens and had so many delicious stops throughout. I highly highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing time! Dionisis (aka Dennis) was a fantastic guide- he was extremely knowledgeable, took time to explain the history and culture and it was apparent immediately how enthusiastic he was to share his expertise with us. It was a wonderful balance of history, walking, and some time for lunch and desserts as well.

The experience of the day with Sebastián was excellent. He arrived punctually at the meeting point and was very patient, as our group arrived very late the night before in Athens. The trip allowed us to have an overview of Athens and his explanations were very clear and interesting. He completed the itinerary without rushing us or making us feel pressured. We greatly appreciate his advice for the other places we will visit.

Demetri planned a great private tour for us. We were able to see the most important sites all within our 7 hour time frame. These included The Acropolis/Parthenon, Ancient Agora, Panatehsic stadium and the impressive changing of the guard at the Presidential Palace and Tomb of Unknown Soldier. He took us to a very authentic Greek restaurant where the locals eat and we tried Souvlaki, Greek salad and Baklava that Demetri provided. Our favorite part of the tour was to hear about the history of Athens and what it is like to live there. Demetri was very knowledgeable and professional. He was prompt and communicated instructions clearly so that we understood exactly what we were doing, where to meet, and also was open to making any changes we requested. We really felt like we got a great tour and we highly recommend Demetri!

Great tour! Our guide Margarita (sorry if I mis-spelled) was knowledgable (also teaches high school I think) and moved through the sites at a perfect pace - not rushed, no too long. We sometimes have issues with hearing the guide during group tours, either because of the accent or the audio headset stinks but didn't run into any of that here. Would definitely recommend adding the optional museum tour because we learned a lot more than we would have if we just wandered on our own (which we learned the hard way the following day in Delphi).

No visit to Athens is complete with a tour to Acropolis Hill. We booked a tour with Athenian Tours through Viator. Our guide was Angeliki (Angel) and we recommend requesting her. Angel is fantastic. A very experienced guide who has taken the time to write a tour that is thorough, easy to understand and supported by a picture book she created that shows what exactly one is looking at in the ruins depicted in its original form. Be prepared to walk up - and down - a rocky path to the top of the HIll to see the Parthenon and other structures. Be SURE to have shoes with firm sole grips, especially if there is any inclement weather. we were there in spring when the weather was cool and were comfortable, but in the summer in would be tough and you will definitely need a hat for shade and protection. But well worth it. Thank you, Angeliki and Athenian tours. THe whisper devices with ear phones are perfect to understand all the guide is saying and to walk at one's own pace while still hearing everything being said. Also, the Guided tour of the Museum was excellent. The museum is amazing! FIrst class, but could be overwhelming with the amount of artifacts there. Really appreciated having the expertise of Angeliki on our first visit to the Museum.

We took a two-hour walking tour in Athens with our guide, Alexandros Aslanidis, and it was excellent. The tour was very interesting. Alexandros was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable, presenting the information in an engaging and accessible way. Although the tour focused on the Acropolis, it also provided a great understanding of the broader history of Greece. Highly recommended.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! We did go on off season but there was so many things to still see and do! Being able to swim in the island waters was such a great experience and most of all it was relaxing, I really enjoyed my time! The guides were very nice, thank you to them for making everyone have an amazing time
