An unforgettable private tour with Elias!

We had a fantastic time with Elias on the Zaanse Schans and Volendam Private Tour! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Elias picked us up directly from our hotel in a private Mercedes van and took us to Zaanse Schans early, before all the tour buses arrived. We were practically the only people there, which made the experience feel truly special and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the scenery without the crowds. Elias was also our private photographer, thoughtfully suggesting the best spots and angles for photos. He really went above and beyond to make sure we captured some wonderful memories of our day. One of the highlights was visiting the Henri Willig cheese farm, where we had the opportunity to meet the adorable Jersey cows and even watch them being milked. It was such a fun and unique experience that we wouldn’t have had on a typical group tour. Volendam was absolutely beautiful, and Elias gave us a wonderful personal tour of the town. He also recommended a fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed a relaxing lunch and took in the atmosphere. Elias was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had an amazing day. Having a private guide made such a difference, and we felt like we were experiencing these beautiful places in a much more personal way. If you’re visiting Amsterdam, this is a MUST-DO tour! Definitely a Must Do Tour!

This was a fabulous tour and one of the top 3 things that we did on our 3 week trip. The reason for it being so fantastic was because we were met at our hotel in Amsterdam by Sharon, for a private tour. It was because we had Sharon as our guide that the tour was even better than we had hoped! Sharon is considerate, fun, polite and has so much wonderful knowledge that she shared with us. Great way to end our vacation…

Our family enjoyed this tour a lot! We took it on our last day-they picked us up with our luggage, took us around, and dropped us at the airport z. It was the perfect ending to our trip. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, the van was very clean, and we saw everything we wanted to. The cheese was the best!!

Great Tour—Exactly What We Hoped For!

We reserved this tour last minute and had a wonderful experience. Alfonso and Christiano were super friendly, showed us all the major sites, and were exceptionally flexible. We arrived a little late and they waited patiently, allows us a quick stop for food, and took us the Anne Frank house even though it wasn’t part of the tour. Lots of stops for pictures and great explanations. It was a great way to get an overall experience of Amsterdam! Highly recommend.

There is nothing better than taking a canal tour with a true local with a deep understanding of the history and culture of Amsterdam. The boat was extremely comfortable and electric so no motor noise!! Highly recommend - and would repeat since each time you'd see new parts of this amazing city.

Love that the tour started from my hotel. Anna was an outstanding guide. She asked questions to determine what my interests were and to identify any landmarks that I had already visited. The tour felt very personalized and catered to my interests. She answered questions about culture and quality of life in Amsterdam. She took me to see places that locals visit and appreciate. My husband and I spent 5 hours at The Van Gogh Museum… it felt like 30 minutes. The collection and history were curated in such a way that left you feeling like you were back in time with the Van Gogh’s. This museum is not to be missed. We had just seen many of his pieces in Paris and we were so glad we learned more about his life here.

Highly recommend

Paola was a wonderful guide, hitting the highlights and some hidden gems on a pretty busy day. She was deeply knowledgeable and her obvious love of art and history were apparent. She gets top marks though because my 85-year-old mother is hard of hearing and wears hearing devices that prevent her from using the headsets the rest of us used. Paola conscientiously kept her close and made extra effort to speak so she could hear. My mom often gets frustrated and gives up in crowded, noisy situations but she had a delightful time and was so happy thanks to Paola
