It was a very good day...
It was a very good day trip. Said and Jay took really good care of us and along the way, explain all the history and important facts about The Netherlands and Amsterdam and Giethoorn. The arrangement was very lovely. (Bonus: we stopped at a tulip field improntu)

Super Flexible and Efficient
The experience was amazing! Very efficient operation and going and coming back was flexible and easy. The gardens were beautiful but crowded this time of the year and keep at least 3 hours for inside the garden to explore different areas. It does take time to get to the meeting point, so leave extra time because it involves often a tram ride, a ferry ride and a bit of walking.Finding the right ferry if you are new to town, can take some time. So keep an extra 15 minutes as a buffer.

This was our favorite...
This was our favorite tour in Amsterdam! The guide was so informative and had the best personality! It was so nice to see a different side of Amsterdam and was such a picturesque little town. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam, as a chance to see a different side of the city!

The Keukenhof and Zaanse...
The Keukenhof and Zaanse Schans Windmills Guided Day Trip is a convenient, time-saving way to experience two of the Netherlands’ top highlights—Keukenhof Gardens, famous for its vibrant seasonal tulips, and Zaanse Schans, known for its historic windmills and Dutch crafts—all in a single day without worrying about logistics. Travelers appreciate the ease, scenic beauty, and cultural touches like cheese tastings and clog demonstrations, but often note that the schedule can feel rushed, especially at Zaanse Schans, and that some tours are more self-guided than fully guided. Overall, it’s ideal for first-time visitors or those short on time who want a comfortable overview rather than an in-depth exploration.

Amsterdam is a fantastic base for exploring not only the Netherlands but also neighboring Belgium, as both UNESCO World Heritage-listed Bruges and the capital, Brussels, are easy Amsterdam day trips. Other great day trip options highlight Dutch country classics, from Keukenhof tulips to Zaanse Schans windmills via dams, dykes, cheesemakers, and clog factories. Try porcelain-making Delft, cosmopolitan The Hague, or Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second city for a more urban day out. Whether your tastes run to food or culture, nature or history, there’s an Amsterdam day trip with your name on it.
