What are people saying about Amsterdam

A nicely arranged tour
This was a really great tour with a small group of people and a very informative & helpful guide. I thank Leidse for everything, he made our tour fun and gave us full information about all the places we visited. He took good care of all of us. It is obvious that he loves his job and taking it very seriously. In this beautiful tour, you not only see the beautiful and magical place like Giethoorn but also visit Zaanse Schans, the windmills, the cheese factory and clog factory, they are also really nice places to see. So i highly recommend this tour to everyone wondering. I’ll definitely come back with my kids.

Great way to see the Dutch countryside
Bianca was our tour guide and she did a great job. We got out of the city and got to see some of the Dutch countryside. The Zaandijk village is super cool. You get to tour a working windmill, learn how Dutch cheese is made, and see a demonstration of wooden shoe making. It is a great way to get some culture and get out of the city.

A walking tour for the more discerning tourist
Look for the Yellow Umbrellas. My guide was knowledgeable and friendly, also able to answer recommendations for things to see outside of the tour. A 2-2.5hr walking tour, tailored in part to the group interests. Typically avoids the RLD but you get insight into historical and architectural factors related to Dutch history instead. Useful to do for background as a solo traveller, as it allows me to wander around town with a slightly different perspective, for my city break. Comfortable, sturdy shoes and ability to avoid bicycles recommended.

Rotterdam, Delft and the Hague
Andy was a great tour guide. Very informative and knowledgeable about the areas and their history. The cube houses in Rotterdam were amazing as was thebMarket Hall. Delft museum was a sight see. So much beautiful pottery and tiles. The town of Delft was quaint. The city center had loads of places for food and snacks. The churches were beautiful. The Hague was awesome The Imagine Peace wish tree loaded with wishes and the Eternal Peace Flame was beautiful. All in all great tour and a great day.

Amsterdam is a fantastic base for exploring not only the Netherlands but also neighboring Belgium, as both UNESCO World Heritage-listed Bruges and the capital, Brussels, are easy Amsterdam day trips. Other great day trip options highlight Dutch country classics, from Keukenhof tulips to Zaanse Schans windmills via dams, dykes, cheesemakers, and clog factories. Try porcelain-making Delft, cosmopolitan The Hague, or Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second city for a more urban day out. Whether your tastes run to food or culture, nature or history, there’s an Amsterdam day trip with your name on it.
