We opted for the private tour and it was definitely worth every cent. Rosario is the best captain absolutely amazing! Towels and anything needed (aside from sunblock of course) were provided. Our day on the boat was full of the most beautiful sights, snacks and drinks, beautiful swimming stops, grottos and an amazing lunch! This was by far our best day in Italy out of the two weeks spent traveling. We will definitely be returning to Sorrento and booking this private book tour again. 10000/10 recommend!!

He covered everything from how the people lived in the first century to how the ruins were discovered, excavated and studied. It is a fascinating tour and well worth taking. Out of everything our family did during our time in Positano, this is the experience we will remember most. The biggest reason was our incredible captain and host, Raphael. From the moment we stepped aboard, he made everyone feel welcome and cared for. He was exceptionally kind, generous, and attentive throughout the entire day, constantly checking in to make sure every guest was comfortable and having a great time. What stood out most was how wonderful he was with the children. He went out of his way to make sure they had everything they needed and felt included in the adventure, which made the day even more special for our family. As we cruised along the stunning Amalfi Coast, Raphael pointed out landmarks, beautiful villas, historic homes, and famous hotels while sharing fascinating stories and local history. It felt like having a private guide and captain all in one. Seeing the coastline from the water gave us a completely different perspective and allowed us to appreciate just how spectacular this part of Italy truly is. The snorkeling stops were absolutely incredible. We stopped at two different locations where the water was so crystal clear that you could easily see all the way to the bottom. Both spots were filled with marine life, and we spent so much time watching schools of fish swimming around us. Raphael provided everything we needed, including snorkeling equipment and floating noodles, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience level. The hospitality throughout the day was exceptional. Raphael continually treated us to fresh fruit, drinks, and thoughtful touches that made the experience feel luxurious and relaxed rather than rushed. The boat tour of Amalfi and Positano was incredible. We were able to visit both town and see incredible scenery by taking the boat tour without the hassle of traffic. Vittorio and Annalisa were great hosts and made sure we had a great time. They were knowledgeable about the area of the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts and made sure we had everything we needed from drinks to snacks. The boat is limited to 12 people and that made it more intimate and interesting.

The whole crew at Amalfi Heaven Gardens are awesome! We did the full cooking class where we made the most incredible apertifs + AMAZING gnocchi with Rosa! Sam was hilarious throughout our entire tour & experience. The views alone are worth it, but the experience of the cooking class & comfortability from the whole staff was so impressive! Next time we’re in Amalfi, we will be doing the pizza cooking class with them!

Andre was amazing from start to finish! pickup was simple. He took us to all the caves and gave us the history and took all our photos! We even went to the blue gratto! 10/10 experience. after we popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon! He took us to capri and we had lunch there and then went to the town of capri to do some shopping for about 2 hrs. after we boarded the boat again we did some swimming and had a blast. Alberto was the most amazing guide to go to Capri with. He was very organised and entertaining. Little did we know that he was also a tenor singer until he performed a song for my wife’s 60th birthday when we were having lunch in Anacapri. This was an incredible day! Our guide, Dani, was bright, friendly, funny, and very knowledgable. The trip from Sorrento to Pompei is a scenic bus ride and is very enjoyable. Pompei was striking. What a privilege to see it. Our tour guide, Marco, was an amazing addition to the trip and really made it spectacular. One practical element that I believe everyone should know - you MUST be able to walk long distances! And if you are going to Mt Vesuvius you should know that it includes a HIKE to the top! It’s not the full mountain by any means, but it includes steep inclines and may be difficult for those with physical limitations, as well as children or elderly. My partner and I are pretty average in the physical fitness dept and made it up just fine by taking breaks when needed. The experience overall is incredible and I highly recommend it!
