Overview

Learn how to create classic dishes from the Amalfi Coast during this half-day, small-group cooking workshop, which takes place in a traditional farmhouse. "Amalfi Heaven Gardens", in front of GAS Bar, about 1 km from Amalfi town center, easily reachable on foot (~20 minutes), by bus, or by car. Paid parking available at GAS Bar. Our hosts will be waiting in front of GAS Bar 15 minutes before the class starts, holding an ORANGE UMBRELLA.

Due to the presence of stairs and uneven and steep surfaces, this activity is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or wheelchair users.

So much fun and delicious foods were prepared and shared by all. Friendly hosts and the chef was such a sweet person with a great sense of humor. It was raining when we went which was awful but we still had a good time.

Most likely our greatest experience in our 11 day trip to Italy. The guys were an absolute blast to be around. Getano, Alessandro, and Angelo were so hilarious and made the experience great. The food we cooked was delicious, the memories we made were lasting, and the views were unmatched. Would recommend this trip to anyone.

We had such a great experience, and really loved every aspect of this adventure. Great team, friendly, funny and educational. The food was amazing and even as an experienced “home cook” still learned so much. Plus the dishes were amazing and the gardens are gorgeous. Amazing views too. One of the best things we did in our trip to Amalfi.

Great experience where you are actually taught some cooking skills and Italian dishes. Beautiful location in Amalfi. You will love the view. This group has a smooth process to get you to their location, picking you up at the GAS bar. The people teaching and helping are fun and you will get to know your classmates as well. The food is delicious. Cone hungry to enjoy everything you prepare. Drink the wine and enjoy the music. You will get the recipes at the end of Queen Rosa signs your diploma. If you ar in another town the bus is a good way to get to Amalfi. Plan ahead and get your tickets the night before. Understanding the bus schedule was a little challenging for us so give yourself plenty of time of time to get to Amalfi. Buses are not perfectly on time. The ferry is a good option as well but you will need find a way up to GAS bar from Amalfi port. Sign up for the class and enjoy! The 10am class was wonderful.

Really great experience! Adriano explained a lot of the Amalfi culture and traditions. You tour the gardens and he explains how everything is grown. We made TONS of food and got to be very hands on. Our chef made the group laugh and reminded us of different techniques while preparing and cooking together. Great views!!!

This is a MUST DO ACTIVITY when in Amalfi. The atmosphere, the food and the location were all terrific but the best part were the chefs- “Cousin Ugo”, gavriella and Fabiano were great. From the moment we arrived, Hugo made us feel completely at home — his infectious energy, hilarious stories, and down-to-earth humor had everyone laughing before the first dish was even started. Staff amazing! So fun. Tons of food, delicious. Beautiful views. Small things to know: group was larger than advertised (says capped at 10, there were 12). Not a deal breaker but for some that’s a big deal. Also know that you don’t all make your own pasta. You watch them make a large batch and then take part in rolling and shaping it.

We got hands-on with fresh ingredients, picked up authentic cooking tips, and enjoyed every minute of making (and eating!) the delicious dishes. This class is an absolute MUST!! We had the best time and honestly was probably one of our favorite meals while in Italy. Our 3 guides, Lou, fabio, and nikola were so much fun and hilarious to work with! The way the class was set up and operated created a very smooth flow where we were able to make 6 different appetizers and an entre. The wine never stopped and the view was breathtaking. Don’t think twice about this one, JUST DO IT!

One amazing experience and the best way to end our tour on the Amalfi coast. Cannot recommend enough. This is a must do and make sure you come on an empty stomach as there will be so much food to have…and wine! Its so easy to get to on the local bus and the staff make the experience. Amazing!

This tour was a great experience. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, the food we prepared as a class was delicious, the wine and limoncello were plentiful, and the atmosphere with its view was perfect! My only suggestion for improvement would be that perhaps the class prepare fewer starter dishes so that every member of the class could watch and learn each dish, rather than learning only the dish you prepare and maybe the dish the person next to you is making. Because each person was assigned a particular part of a recipe, each of us was busy completing our assigned task and couldn’t really observe anyone else.
