Guide didn’t show up and didn’t even bother to let us know. We stood in the freezing cold and they don’t even have the curtesy to answer one text or call to see what was going on.

Very cold outdoor experience with no stops along the way with any type of out door heaters. That would have been nice to break up the tour. The limited drinks and food tastings were a nice little touch. You really can get the same experience without a guide. Guide was very nice but a novice.

There is quite a bit of walking and the markets are very crowded. The food/drinks tastings are amazing. Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. The final market, however, he just dropped us off at the entrance and then said good-bye. Was expecting a final tour or tasting given the price. Outside of that, highly recommend!

Our tour guide never showed up. We arrived 15 min early at the meeting place and stood in the cold for more than 20 min. The first Christmas market in the list was at the meeting place and was a joke - a tree and two booths selling hot wine. And we heard from a walking tour we took earlier that day that the last market didn’t exist this year. A disaster all around. Fortunately our money was refunded.

We toured Christmas markets that we normally wouldn’t see. We loved the food tasting. Now that we have been to several we wish we would have asked more questions about what the foods were.

Such a disappointment. We took a taxi to the meeting place. He was stopped by the police. The number to contact was wrong so we called our travel agent. She contacted Viator but was put on hold. We ran 8 minutes late. We understand that the guide left without us. What we DONOT understand was Viator could not reach the guide. We would have walked to catch up with them. But no! We lost our money because the guide was unreachable. Being late by 8 minutes was the fault of our driver. But we should have been given a way to catch up with them since this was a walking tour. Unacceptable!
We should we refunded. We have spent a lot of money on this trip with Viator. You should make this right.

Don’t go! We were in front of the church for 40 minutes with icy cold and rain on time. And nobody came. They didn’t cherche us or leave a message and list. This has cost me 158€ I’m waiting for a full refund. Shame on theme

Fun tour with Germana. Visited a few markets and tried the traditional foods sold at Christmas markets. Learned some history of some of the particular food origins and the districts where the markets are. Germana is a knowledgeable guide who made the tour fun and interesting. I would recommend
The tour description says + the mulled wine unique mug but they were advertised for sale during the trip, so that’s a bit confusing in the description. Side note.

We had a great time on this tour! Our English speaking guide Rita was fantastic. We loved the unique Christmas markets and the food on this tour. I would highly recommend this tour if your visiting Vienna as I don’t think we would have found these on our own!

Christina was pleasant, but didn’t really go above and beyond to ensure everybody had a good time. There was an elderly couple, who couldn’t keep up with her, and she never really slowed down to accommodate them..
It felt like she was happy when the tour was over. The food on the tour was quite good though.

Wasn't a Christmas Market tour. Talked about Austria history more than Christmas Market history. Wasted lots of time waiting on food. Didn't realize it was a food tour. A waste of my time. I would have rather just walked the markets on my own. The meeting point was inconvenient. Uber couldn't get me to it. Basically caused me miss enjoying the markets.

What a wonderful way to visit a few of the Christmas Markets with a local guide. We were able to see some of the markets that were more intimate with organic food and drinks from local merchants. Also were given information about the city’s history and current day-to-day practices. A great way to start our vacation!

Enjoyed our walking tour. Nice to taste local food and cider and warm drinks and visit a few of the more local legit markets. My travel friend was saying we weren’t going to the big markets and second guessing me. Did I prove her wrong. These were the “right” markets to go to to get the legit feel rather than over commercialized experience. Loved our guide.

This was a really nice tour, lots of information on how people spend their social time and where the xmas markets are and what they’re like, and a little history thrown in the mix.
Personally I wouldn’t include the Museum Quarter another time but Manuel was a lovely guide.

Decimos que nuestra experiencia fue nefasta porque a pesar de nuestros esfuerzos no disfrutamos del tour. Primer día en Viena y primer tour en Viena, un transeunte nos aconsejó ir en tranvía al punto de encuentro, llegando a las cuatro y treinta. El tour comenzaba a las 5 de la tarde. Cuando habían pasado 20 minutos allí ni aparecía el guía ni ningún cliente, fue entonces cuando llamamos al teléfono que facilitaban en el ticket, no respondiendo a ninguna de las llamadas, y el tiempo pasaba y nadie llegaba, por ello nos pusimos en contacto mediante WhatsApp y la persona que nos atendió ni nos pudo dar el teléfono del guía ni pudo ponerse en contacto con el guía y nos aconsejó que buscáramos el mercadillo mas cercano para poder encontrar al grupo. Así quisimos hacerlo y le preguntamos a una señora donde estaba el mercadillo de Navidad más cercano, fue en este momento cuando nos percatamos de que habíamos equivocado el punto de encuentro, ya que la señora nos indicó que estaba a mas de 40 minutos andando. Ya había pasado mas de media hora de una tarde lluviosa, ventosa y fría y nos sentimos perdidos , decepcionados y sin saber qué hacer.
Indudablemente no vamos a responsabilizar a Viator de nuestra equivocación, pero si son responsables de no haberse puesto en contacto con nosotros al ver que no llegamos al punto de encuentro y de no tener un teléfono de "emergencia" para resolver un caso como el nuestro. Nosotros si contactamos con Viator sin éxito. Resultado: perdimos el tour y los 237€. Reclamamos y no nos dieron ni la más mínima compensación y encima al final de la respuesta nos dicen que esperan contar con nosotros para próximas ocasiones; puro cinismo.
