We had a great day...

Alana_F, Apr 2025
We had a great day exploring the markets and local food with Patrick. Definitely the best food we had in Vienna. Highly recommend this tour when you first get to Vienna. It really helped us figure out where to eat the rest of the time we were there.

The best food tour in Vienna

James_B, Sep 2024
Our guide, Peter, was fantastic. Got to know more about thx city of Vienna as well as the food. Went well away from the tourist centers to eat amazing and very local foods. Could not recommend it more. Wear good shoes. Lots of ground to cover and see!!

A terrific experience!

Christoph was an AMAZING tour guide. A fun person to spend the day with, SO knowledgeable, and very attentive to what we liked. This was definitely a highlight of our time in Vienna. He takes pictures and sends a follow up email that includes restaurant recommendations. We can’t thank him enough for a wonderful day. We felt like we got a very authentic food experience in Vienna. He also taught us how to use the public transport system, so this is truly a great tour for one of your first days there!

Wonderful Tour! Do this if you want to see Vienna!

What a fabulous first day in Vienna! Peter was an absolute perfect tour guide. His knowledge of history is only surpassed by his clear love for his native Vienna. He took the 2 of us all around the city - walking, on the subway, and on they tram. He introduced us to all the Vienna favorite food and drink. What a charm of a man in a beautiful city with such history and character

We had a great time with Wolfgang/Wolfi! Starting with a Viennese breakfast from Cafe Korb, not too far from Stephansplatz; we went over to Reumannplatz, a working class neighborhood, tried fresh fruits at the neighborhood market; grabbed a brilliant Austrian lunch on the way from there; had ice cream knodels along the way at a cute place named Eissalon Tichy (filled with kindergarten kids); visited Brunnenmarkt to try some street food; and wrapped up at a chic coffee place before heading back to base! Wolfi’s experience on the ‘trail’ showed well, and we were greeted with warmth everywhere! It was a truly enjoyable experience. Thanks again Wolfi!

Great food tour of Vienna with homework!

Ed_N, Oct 2022
This was a great food tour with Verena! She took us to some great places in Vienna and we sampled food while she told us stories about the food, the restaurants, and Vienna. She picked interesting places like Cafe Korb, owned by Susanne Widl, where she made sure we checked out the bathroom doors downstairs. Farmers markets are always interesting to check out in a new city or country and she took us to one where she said all the locals shop and I was shocked how cheap things were there. All the food was good, there was even ice cream swimming in vodka (at 11 in the morning! :-) But we also were shown some other things in Vienna like the amalienbad, Altmann & Kuhne with the miniature chocolates and Zum Schwarzen Kameel, a 400+ year old restaurant Beethoven used to eat at, with mini open faced sandwiches. We didn't eat here on the tour but Verena showed it to us and we went the next day and it was so good. Verena actually left us with quite a number of recommendations of things to see and we hit a few like the Art Museum, the outdoors elevator at MuseumsQuartier, Cafe Museum, etc later in our trip. We just didn't have enough time to hit all the places she gave us for homework though! Verena is very nice and a fantastic tour guide.

Great Time!

We had a great time on this excursion. It’s a great way to get acclimated to the city and taste lots of local food. Our guide, Verena, was amazing. Personable and knowledgeable. In short, she was an excellent guide!

Great culinary adventure with Christoph and Wolfie

Susan_D, Jul 2022
It was very exciting! And it seemed like there was endless amounts of delicious food! Christoph, our tour guide, was wonderful. Our family really likes history so he made sure to incorporate that into our tour. The unique food paired with the great conversation made for an excellent adventure through Vienna. It was wonderful to run into Wolfie on our tour! We would definitely recommend and would do again!

Mr. Wolfgang! Authentic Viennese...

MARC T, Apr 2018
Mr. Wolfgang! Authentic Viennese Food Experience After eating all the authentic Austrian food dishes at the highest rated restaurants on Yelp over three days including one fine dining before our Mozart concert, my wife and I really felt underwhelmed with the overall food experience here... until we met Mr. Wolfgang himself! This food tour really saved the trip and made us wanting to come back for more! Our guide was very charismatic, very informative and engaging providing such a wonderful experience. He has excellent taste and proves it with the incredible quality and types of coffee to begin the tour. He blends historical cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, with more modern / current places extremely well. We got to see so much more of Vienna than we ever anticipated, providing a true and authentic experience that was enjoyable. The market places we were able to see were a delight. The food tastings and chocolate tastings were incredible there, had to buy some goodies on the spot even though we still had a long way to go. There is a lot of walking but it gives you a chance to digest your food and prepare yourself for all the wonderful and tasty food coming your way. Also an opportunity to take in a few unique drinks that were delicious. In the end youll get to ride a tram and bus to get you back home safely providing a really cool and local experience. Very efficient and quick. Too many favorites to mention, but definitely the best coffee tastings, their special dessert thats like a breakfast pancake is incredible, the authentic goulash from an old school market shop is the real thing, with incredible sausages and another special dish waiting. Thanks for making our 10 year marriage anniversary in Vienna perfect!! Highly recommend Wolfgang, his choice of food will change how you see Vienna! What an excellent experience!
