Overview

Tuscan and Pugliese olive oils get most of the international attention, but Lake Garda has its own protected designation—Garda DOP, classified in 1997 as one of Italy's first five PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) olive oils. The lake's eastern shore has been called the "Riviera degli Olivi" since 1968. This tour visits a working oil mill with a tasting of four extra virgin olive oils, including the Garda DOP, paired with local food.

We had a great tour. Our host was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. We had a great sampling of oils with plenty of breads and salami to taste with the oils. Would recommend the tour to anyone

Family-own distillery producing extra virgin oil from Garda. The tour itself was given by a family member and was very informative. The tasting positively surprising! - loved that they support other local and regional artesanal products, which are also included in the tasting experience. Price-quality ratio makes it super worth it. Furthermore, the town is only a few minutes ago and it’s a great place to spend the day!
