Got the job done, but not worth the extra cost

I would just book tickets directly. We had to go to another site to pick up tickets and then download onto our phones the audio tour. No where (that I saw) said this the audio would require our personal devices and we didn't bring our headphones/airpods and struggled to download the app with spotty service (not their fault for that, but would have been nice to be able to do this at the hotel before we left when we had better connectivity)

Interesting but not my favorite one in Verona. To much people and not much to see. The building is medieval but that’s it. Buy the way, the balcony it a tourist product and not a real part of the original building.

The house itself is 4 floors so expect to climb stairs. If you’re a fan of the story and history of it, it is totally worth it. They have art throughout the home and props from the 1960s movie. I definitely would recommend.

You need the ticket in advance and go in the door of the courtyard to the building to get the ticket. Do not wait on the long line that is for people without advance ticket. You can get Shakesphere and there is commentary by Dickens but as to the Italian authors - original story or Italian librettist for the French opera non ce niente…..I don’t know why. Between this story and the rip off of the Decameron (Chaucer)- Italy loses its culture to the English….

We did the audio tour and it was enough time to hear and walk through the house independently. My only suggestion is to have a a monitor have the tourists line up in an orderly manner to take the picture with the statue of Juliette

It was a little difficult to find the office to get tickets. It’s a small office hidden off the street at the back of a courtyard. Also early is better and weekday was less busy. If you want nice pictures have someone go to the 2nd or third floor to take pics through the window of the balcony with someone on it.

We book all our tours on Viator as we thought they were all pre checked out. My family and I were sold an audio tour which normally means a headset piece. It was self guided which was ok but on arrival got told to download an app to listen to the tour and then was advised the wifi was down. Maybe this should be told upfront so customers can download the all app and bring thier ear pods

Really cute stop. Be sure to book early as it gets very crowded anytime after 9am. We took our photos off the balcony and shopped at the gift shops near the house.

The good news is all the floors are back open for viewing. So the tour took about under an hour. You definitely do not need two hours for this. It’s a little hectic having to get your ticket printed at a different location then go and hand it in at the entrance of the house. The day we went it was raining and very chaotic so the skip the line was worth the price. However, the crowds weren’t really being managed well so it was very difficult to get pictures in the courtyard and the experience wasn’t the best due to the chaos. Lastly, the audiobook requires an app download which I didn’t have and couldn’t get because of lack of phone service so we didn’t get to listen to the audio portion of the tour which is why I took off a star.

Don’t use viator use the official website. I was charged full price by viator. The house was undergoing renovation. There was only one room open. No audio. What should have been 2 hr experience took less than 5 mins. Was refused a refund. On second attempt was given 6 euros back. Pathetic.

The fast pass is a great way to go as the line to get into the courtyard is extremely long. We were able to get in quickly and have our turn to get a photo with Juliet’s statue. We were not advised that the courtyard was full of scaffolding and the top 2 floors of the museum were closed for renovations. We may have reconsidered spending the money on the admission had we know we would only have access to the gift shop and the first floor of the museum where the balcony is located.

My wife absolutely loved it. The audio tour was insight and believable. There is so much more than the courtyard. The history of all the various artists and writers added to ambience of the castle. The pictures you take from the balcony are the final magical touch. I highly recommend.
