Best way to discover beautiful Verona! Learned lots, we stopped at picture perfect points and our small group could move around easily even on the crowded areas. Our guide, Mauro, was very knowledgeable and fun. Wonderful experience!

This was one of the best guided tours we have ever had. Verona is filled with history and details you would never know without an expert to point out what is right before your eyes. I highly recommend this to any visitor. We still talk about things we learned on this tour and seeing the colloseum was a highlight!

Excellent Tour and Morris was amazing.

Scott_F, Apr 2026
We had our tour with Morris and he was Excellent! I cant rate him highly enough. He went through all the historic sites around Verona and also told us the best places to eat and drink. He also included different parts of information about other regaional landmarks and gardens and recomendations on where to visit. The tour was relaxed, we all had a great time even my kids (10 & 14) who were asking questions and we all loved it. Morris was very friendly, knowledgeable and was great to listen to as well. Would recommend him to anybody.

Very good walking tour & our guide was excellent. Maybe could have be a little shorter as no place to go to the toilet on a 3 hour tour.

Definitely recommend this tour!

If you like verbal historical salads and long walks, this is for you

Jeff_F, Dec 2025
Guide kept talk about historical context. Too many century's, too many family, eras, countries, sections of the city, just a big bowl of history salad I didn't care for. Just show me the sites, give me quick context, and let's move on. To stand in a square and talk for 20-30 minutes seemed fun and interesting for the guide, but not me. And it was loooong. Lots of steps and stairs. Almost five miles worth. Was told at the last minute the Romeo and Juliet visit was just a walk by, not a stop and touch visit. Something about a local government change? Wouldn't do this tour again. Also no earphones were given out either. Guide's voice was oftentimes downed out.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Our tours are designed for curious travelers who enjoy historical context and storytelling — how different eras, families, and events shaped the city. For many guests, this depth is what makes the experience meaningful rather than simply visiting sites. We understand this style isn’t for everyone. Some travelers prefer a faster pace, lighter commentary, or minimal walking, and in those cases a self-guided visit may be a better match. Our walking tours do cover several miles and include longer explanations at key points, as outlined in the tour description. Access to Juliet’s House can change due to local authority decisions, sometimes with short notice, and guides adjust accordingly. This tour may not have matched your personal preferences. We recommend reading the tour description next time.

Our guide, Monica, was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and truly enthusiastic about Verona and its history. This is an excellent tour to learn about the city in depth. I cannot say enough positive things about our guide. She clear had an extraordinary grasp of Verona’s history and artistic patrimony. I heartily recommend this tour.

Lots of walking and lots of history! A very informative tour including highlights over more than 2000 years of history in Verona. Great overview on our first trip there. Paula was extremely knowledgeable and clearly enthusiastic about her subject matter. Despite a rainy day, this was a most enjoyable morning!

A thoroughly enjoyable city tour

Ian_H, Nov 2025
Our guide was Carla and she was one of the loveliest people I have ever met. During the tour I got sidetracked (I'm a total wonderer-all-over-the-place-er) and she checked that the speed was ok. Little things like that matter to me. She genuinely brought the beautiful city to life with stories about gladiators and the truth about Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare nicked the story from someone else and never set foot on Verona!). Three hours flew by.

I walked away with a good understanding of Veronas history and got to learn some local knowledge of the city as well.

Fall in love with Verona

yuliya_a, Oct 2025
Amazing tour! Exactly what you need if you are in Verona for a few days. Our guide, Moris, was so funny and friendly and informative! He gave us history and culture of Verona and left with many tips what to try and where to go. I have to say that without Moris we would not get to know Verona that well and fall in love with it. We are coming back for the Concert season in Arena :)

Monica was a great tour guide. She had so much information and knowledge to share, I feel like I know Verona so much better now! I’m really glad I did this tour the day after I got to Verona, it’s given me so many insights that I know now what I want to explore more of. The city is stunning and we walked around so much and saw all the beautiful sights in a span of a few hours. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get a good idea of Verona and its history and you don’t have too much time or want to get an idea of what to see so you can decide where else to go.
