Meet the wine expert in Verona, explore the Valpolicella valleys and taste local wines like the famous Amarone and Ripasso in two traditional wineries of Valpolicella region. The wine experience will start with a visit to a fascinating and family-run winery located in the heart of Valpolicella.
Here, the winemaker will show you the wine cellar and tell you the secrets of the production. Then, you will enjoy a wine tasting, including the great Amarone, paired with some local products.
After taking some stunning pictures of the cellar and vineyards you will depart to reach the second winery where you will have more tastings and compare the aromas of the wines. Here, the winemaker will welcome you telling the story of the family-run business and its value for the territory.
Finally, you’ll understand why Verona is the wine capital of Italy: an incredible territory made of small and high quality winemakers who produce an amazing product with passion.

This was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Stephano, was so knowledgeable, kind, fun. His love for his job and for wine shines through! The wineries we saw were small and it made for a beautifully private and intimate tasting that made you feel like you were truly getting to see the process and passion behind the wines. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful tour with Stefano. He brought us to two amazing vineyards where we had very engaging tours and got to sample lots of delicious wine and snacks. Stefano was very knowledgeable on the full process and answered all our questions. We learned so much! We also really liked the small tour group size.The transportation was comfortable and the meeting point was easy to find. Thank you :)

Great tour and nice to see the difference between big and small winery and great wine tastings. Friendly and knowledgeable guide and in the hot weather the airconditioned van was a big plus.

Lorenzo was our tour guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The two wineries were beautiful in their own right. Food and wine were excellent. And the countryside views were amazing. True Italian wine experience. Loved it

A decent afternoon out. Got to taste 10ndifferent wines from 2 wineries.
A medium sized winery and a small producer.
Both interesting and both with excellent wine.
The first winery gave decent sized portions and a fantastic selection of meats and cheeses to taste the wine with. The 2nd winery was a tad tight with the measures though.

Excellent host, knowledgeable speakers and great wine.
Some of the wines are touted to pair very well with chocolate, they did not have any chocolate. That was the only down side.
One of the vineyards had a few dogs who were very friendly. 10/10

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the chauffeured drive by Lorenzo and his informative commentary, and we loved the visit to La Dama and Francini family-operated vineyards. The visit to the cellars of both vineyards were picturesque, while the wine tastings were fabulous. An excellent tour that we would highly recommend.

Very interesting and well organized tour. Serena was very informative on the coach trip and then we saw how amarone wine was produced which is very different. We tried plenty of different red wines and it was very enjoyable.

Firstly our guide Stefano was excellent. The wineries we went to & the wines were superb. Family owned small wineries, not large mass produced ones. Learnt a bit of history which was interesting but not boring. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience. You travel in comfort in an air conditioned van to 2 wineries. After touring each one, you have a tasting of 5 wines accompanied by meats and cheeses. The tour guide and the winery reps are friendly and knowledgeable. The settings are beautiful and it’s just a great way to spend an afternoon.

We toured and did tastings at two local wineries in the Valpolicella region. The owners toured and conducted the tasting, asking for our opinion about the wines. Learned alot about the Amarone and Valpolicella grapes and some of the strict regulations on the finer wines. Great day and great wine! We shipped some back home!

The tour guide is knowledgeable, polite, funny & respectful of the country, regions, vineyards & wine itself. The vineyards were nearby so we didn’t drive for most of the time.
We were the only 2 so it was essentially a private tour; he had to “keep us company” during the tastings because there was no one else in the group for us to converse with. That’s more work for him.
In any case, we coukd not have asked for more. He even dropped us off at the train station; saved is a walk.

This was a super convenient way to visit a couple of wineries in Valpollicella without having to drive ourselves. Both wineries provided very good wine and light food, and provided interesting information about how the wine was produced. Our driver was great and provided a list of recommended restaurants in Verona to our group.

We had a great experience! You could tell our guide and the wineries we visited were very passionate about their wine and region! We loved the natural methods the wineries use in their vineyards and we could really taste the difference. And even though our tour was later in the day and right before Christmas, we weren’t rushed but instead encouraged to take our time and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is wanting to visit authentic wineries of the Valpolicella wine region.

This is a super tour o visit two very different wine makers. Both produce outstanding wine and are really very different. The welcome and warmth received from Sophie at the first vineyard was more than I would have expected from a short visit, what a warm welcome, your passion is clear in your excellent wines. The second a large Vineyard, was also welcoming, more business like but very much appreciated nonetheless.
Stefano our guide and driver for the afternoon was punctual, pleasant and informative and a superb driver as well.
I recommend this tour, Stefano is a knowledgeable friendly guide and Nicholis winery was a lovely treat.
Barbra at Borghetti wines is a truly inspirational lady.
