This evening catamaran cruise takes you out onto the Venetian Lagoon, far from the crowds, from the bay of San Marco past the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute down the Canale della Giudecca along Fondamenta Zattere and the Dorsaduro. This was such a relaxing experience. We had lovely music, outstanding views of the Grand Canal. Best time ever. Just do it. Staff were fabulous I couldn't recommend this more highly. Greatest experience in Venice.

If you’re looking for a unique way to experience Venice at night, this is it.
We booked the 10:00 PM Venice by Night Catamaran Cruise, and it turned out to be one of the most magical evenings of our trip. Seeing Venice illuminated from the water with a warm summer breeze was unforgettable.
The DJ played a fantastic mix of music throughout the cruise, and the live saxophone performance added an extra layer of atmosphere that made the whole experience feel special. While we expected the late sailing to be a bit more of a party, it was actually much more relaxed than we anticipated. The boat wasn’t overly crowded, which created a surprisingly romantic vibe instead. I’m sure the experience changes based on size of the group.
We enjoyed cocktails, danced barefoot, and simply soaked in the incredible views of Venice at night. I would definitely book this experience again.

It was an incredibly beautiful evening indeed. The vibes obviously largely depend on our guests but Venice by Night is always stunningly beautiful. I am glad that we managed to make the whole experience feel special. Come back any time!

This was a beautiful way to see Venice at night. I was expecting it to be a little more upbeat and fun but it was more relaxing in nature. Besides our family, there was only a large group on the boat that was from a local employer. The Captain and crew knew them as they were repeat customers and they received a lot of attention, including music tailored to them. You receive one complimentary drink and there was ability to purchase others but no one really offered them. We noticed the large group brought their own alcohol and that would have been nice to know due to limited offerings at the bar. Overall it was a nice night.

The group you mentioned were not repeat customers but the employees of our local supermarket, which has been our main supplier for many years. It was the first time I had invited them on board as a small gesture of appreciation for five years of excellent service.
I am truly sorry if it seemed that they received more attention than other guests on that particular evening. However, I do remember speaking with you and your lovely family, just as I did with all of our guests on board that night.

Very beautiful romantic catamaran boat ride. Yes! The saxophonist actually is on the boat playing great suitable tunes accompanied by wonderful drinks!!!! My wife and I Loved This Experience!!!! A True Once In A Lifetime Experience!!!

This was fantastic! Live saxophone playing alongside music, scenic views, you get one free drink and the rest are reasonably priced. They pause the boat for scenic photos along the way, boat owner was on the ride, great guy. Highly recommend doing this, worth every penny!!!

A great way to unwind and cap the night off in Venice. The catamaran staff were also very helpful in helping us secure a water taxi since the cruise ended at almost midnight and transpo to our hotel was no longer available.

Wonderful way to spend a few hours after enjoying Venice. My wife and I booked this last minute and we were very glad we did. The boat ride at night was a great experience and a very relaxing end to the day. The crew on the boat were great and the music and sax player were also great. Seeing all the sights on our left and right and the serene waterway were very enjoyable.

If you’re staying on Murano, leave early enough to make the boat. The crew and atmosphere was amazing! The cruise was relaxing. My husband and I would def do it again.

From the time we boarded until the time we departed, this was the most memorable cruise of my 3 months away. The team, the 70’ cat, the hospitality and view were unparalleled. Was served the best Negroni of my life.
After 1.5 hours cruising the Venice lagoon at night, I hated leaving. Well done to the captain and crew. Shining example for Venice tourism.

We had a major storm blow through about an hour before our departure. We were there in time however the captain determined there was too much lightning in the area and cancelled the trip. We had to leave for Bellagio the next am so sorry to say we didn’t get to experience but will try another time. The owner of the boat was great and talked with us for a few minutes about his trek to Venice and his experiences. Said he will contact Viator and arrange a refund. Would highly recommend based on our experience.

Hi Jeffrey, it was a pity that we could not do the tour as planned but in the end it was the right decision: the storm got worse, not better, and I was happy that we cancelled the trip. The refund has already been initiated, it usually takes about three working days until the money is back on your credit card.
