- As Saint Mark's Basilica is a religious site, all visitors are required to wear appropriate attire. Both men and women must ensure that their shoulders and knees are covered.

- During the summer season, please allow up to two hours to travel from the train station to Saint Mark’s Square, as water taxis are in high demand and delays are common due to heavy crowds.
- Basilica tickets are priced at €12 per person. Doge's Palace tickets are priced at €30 per adult. All additional charges are considered administrative costs
- The tour runs in all weather conditions. Please note that during certain times of the year, high tide may occur. In that case, raised walkways are set up to allow access and disposable shoe covers can be purchased in front of the entrance.

- The itinerary of the tour can change in the order depending on the tickets availability

Our tour guide did a great Job however the process for communicating was difficult and unorganized. Viator itself was great with verification and getting back to us however this company changed the time 2x. Then when down at the square waiting they text where are you? At 1210 when our time was 1230. After arrival to the area they said well it changed. No call or text.

Disaster from the word go. No tickets were purchased by the company and so when we arrived at the Basilica we were refused entry as the company had tickets printed for us for the previous day. Ultimately didn't get entry to the Basillica. Given that this was our last day - we missed out on this. Do not waste your time with this company. Now making me think twice about booking anything with Viator in future- it is not difficult to do your due diligence when you are taking hundreds of pounds from people.

You may have a tour guide who has very, very broken English, speaks fast and comes 30-40 minutes late to lead the group, then be rushed through because the basilica was closing. No apologies were asked for our patience. I felt that they were unprofessional.

Our tour guide, Rebecca, did a wonderful job. It was a small group of 11 and the tour was very interesting and a lot of information was included during that 2-hour window. It left us time to explore Venice the rest of the day.

The palace is very unique the basilica interesting and beautiful but you don’t get to see it all on this tour.

Very discounted with the tour location we were there 1/2 hour in advanced to meet the guide we had 3 pick up locations which was very hard to find the guide tour since the tour guide didn’t had a sine or a flag .The day was very rainy and we were so disappointed we were going to miss the tour or have to buy tickets .

Tour of basilica was short. Did not go near the altar. Saw some of the mosaics. Hard to hear the guide through the head set. Doges palace was very detailed. Many stairs to climb. Interesting to cross bridge of sighs.
