Our driver was Rajendra and he was helpful all day. From the pickup from our hotel in Udaipur (he sent a tuk tuk as cars are not permitted in the old city) to finding a very tasty lunch spot and then the masala chai stands along the way (he slowed down for a couple of them and then drove off without stopping as they were not up to his standards).
He helped us get the tickets at the Ranakpur temple so we didn’t waste time and got us to our Jodhpur hotel safely.
All day he spoke up with interesting stories or facts but was never intrusive.

Despite some initial confusion in confirming all planned stops along the route, the organizer quickly arranged everything properly and the transfer went smoothly without further issues.
We were given exactly as much time for sightseeing as we wanted, and the departure time was flexibly adjusted to our needs. The driver was punctual, professional, and even suggested food stops that perfectly matched our culinary preferences.
Overall, a very well-managed and comfortable experience. Recommended.

Chaos, every step of the way.
Firstly, I note our driver was a very patient man, and we don't think it was his fault things went the way they did.
Before booking I contacted the service provider through Viator to ensure five people and five big bags could be comfortably accommodated out of the rain. They said they could, and declined my suggestion of two cars.
Our driver was changed last minute, and there was confusion about the pick up, as we booked for our hotel (which was accepted) and then were told to meet in a car park. After some confusing and frustrating calls and messages this was resolved with TukTuks.
Our bags were put on the roof, but the driver only had a tarp full of holes and short thin piece of rope for this task. Completely insufficient for the task; luckily we were carrying our own rachet straps otherwise the journey would have ended here. The car also was very uncomfortable for five people, with two in a third row with zero leg room.
Due to road closures we missed out on seeing the second stop, the temple. Despite not doing half the tour, our journey still took nearly 11 hours. This was due to long stops at petrol stations, and at one point running out of fuel completely. With the language barrier we had no idea what was happening as the car rolled to a stop and the driver got out and started walking away.
When we arrived all four bags om the roof were soaked through, and we need to dry all our clothes.
Good points: our driver didn't appear to complain or hurry us as any point. As the journey was very long we were offered the opportunity to stop for lunch which was nice.
The reviews made it sound like it would all be very easy, our driver would also act as a tour guide and speak some English, but be aware this isn't guaranteed. We had so many issues, and weren't able to communicate at all. If we could do it again we'd book a private driver for half the price.

Our driver Virendra was amazing! He was extremely kind, a great driver, bought us local snacks, gave us specific tips (also for sightseeing) and taught us some things about Indian culture and politics. His English was great so it was easy to communicate with him. His car was perfectly clean. Virendra and the whole transfer expereience was just the best really!
Based on this great drive we booked again with the same company. However, our second experience with them(Jaipur-Agra) showed that it really is dependent on the driver. The second driver did not speak English at all (which makes it very hard to communicate anything really, as simple as a lunch break), his car was not that clean and he only had one seat belt (which we first had to grab from under the seat) in the back.
So my advice: go with this company and request Virendra as your driver, then you'll have an amazing experience and safe journey! :-)

Watch your car from 360,000 km on the clock. The driver thought he was Fangio and despite several requests took several phone calls. Otherwise it is a good plan to cut off the trip with two interesting visits. You must be able to find a better half-priced service directly to Udaipur.

Très agréable voyage en voiture avec un excellent chauffeur très sympathique.
Les deux haltes au temple Jaïn et au fort de Kumbhalgarh étaient formidables. C'était très beau et nous avons eu tout le temps nécessaire pour visiter ces deux sites. Nous recommandons fortement ce transfert qui permet la visite de ces deux lieux, ce qui serai impossible avec un vol.

Esperienza ottima il nostro guidatore Jabbar davvero bravo. Cordiale, ci ha contattato il giorno precedente al tour fornendoci tutti i dettagli sulla macchina e il luogo di incontro. Lungo il tragitto si è fermato in un ristorante molto buono e una volta arrivati a Jodhpur ha anche contrattato un tuktuk che ci portasse all’hotel essendo esso situato nella città vecchia e non raggiungibile in macchina.

Nous avions choisi le transfert privé depuis Udaipur à Jodhpur en passant par le fort de Kumbhalgarh et le temple Jain car nous avions lu de très bons commentaires.
Imaginez notre déception concernant notre expérience qui fut très décevante. Le conducteur nous a presque pas dit bonjour alors qu'il venait nous chercher à l'hotel. Il semblait très pressé, ne nous a absolument pas décroché un seul mot durant les 8 heures de transfert.
Sa voiture n'était pas confortable, pas propre. Sa conduite était désastreuse, très dangereuse. Il a multiplié les prises de risque en collant les voitures qui se trouvaient devant lui, quitte à piler à la dernière minute afin de ne pas rentrer dedans. On a vraiment eu l'impression qu'il voulait juste aller le plus vite possible au point de chute et se débarrasser de nous.
Quand je vois que d'autres personnes ont pu passer 1h30 au fort, nous, nous a eu droit à 40 min top chrono ! Il a fallu qu'on coure pour ne voir qu'une minuscule partie alors qu'il y avait tant à voir et que 1h30 aurait été bien mieux. Concernant l'arrêt au temple Jain, ce n'est pas mieux, nous avons eu droit à une heure à peine.
Par contre, il ne s'est pas privé de prendre tout son temps pour aller manger et nous faire poireauter sur un parking poussiéreux alors qu'il aurait pu manger pendant que nous étions en visite.
Nous avons vécu une expérience lamentable si bien que nous étions pressés d'arriver à Jodhpur afin de retrouver notre liberté. Un conducteur vraiment pas sympa et pas agréable.
