We had a wonderful private tour of Souq Waqif with Javid, and it was the perfect introduction to Doha. The experience was seamless from start to finish, beginning with prompt pickup from our hotel and a warm welcome that immediately set the tone for the afternoon. The highlight, of course, was exploring Souq Waqif itself. Javid brought the market to life with his deep knowledge of Qatari culture, history, and daily life. Rather than just walking us through the main corridors, he took the time to explain the significance of the architecture, the spices, the falcon shops, the textiles, and the subtle details you might otherwise miss. His pacing was perfect — unhurried but efficient — giving us time to browse, take photos, and soak in the atmosphere. We especially appreciated the stop at the Souq Waqif Art Center. Javid pointed out elements of Islamic Qatari architecture and explained how the space supports local artists. It added an extra cultural layer to the visit that we wouldn’t have understood on our own. He was quick to point out great photo places and take the photos for us. What truly made the tour stand out was Javid himself. He was personable, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing Doha with visitors. Totally recommend a city tour with Saroj

We had a fantastic city tour of Doha today! Our guide, Saroj, was incredibly knowledgeable and made every stop interesting with stories about the history, culture and daily life of Qatar. We saw beautiful locations and learned so much we would never have discovered on our own. The tour was relaxed, well organised and very enjoyable, and all our questions were happily answered. We had a 19 hour layover in Doha. Looked his tour and I told Guide Mehmood was amazing. First off he picked us up from our hotel and was right on time. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and knew the history of Qatar. Took us around the city and showed us all the major highlights that should have been seen within our times, man. Pointed out a lot of buildings answered all of our questions and was extremely patient and friendly. He even went the extra mile to buy us Arabic tea for us to try, which was amazing. He took so much beautiful pictures of us. He took us to a mask where we had 20 minutes to enjoy. Definitely had a good time and if you booked this tour and if you’re lucky enough to get Mehmood you will not be disappointed. You definitely will have a great time and it’s definitely worth the money. Great job 10 out of 10 stars all the way. If you have a long layover in Doha, make sure you book this tour and if you’re able to request Mehmoo, make sure you do you will not be disappointed.

Perfect way to explore city for the first time

I had over 9 hours layover in Doha and wanted to take the opportunity to explore the city for the first time. This tour was perfect for that - I got picked up and dropped off in the airport in comfortable air conditioned car, it lasted about 4 hours and covered everything it promises in good detail.
