Overview
One of Tromsø's main ambitions is participation in dogsled racing. Training of both dogs and people throughout the year is essential and summer is the time for new puppies first try at teamwork.
Take part in the most fun part of our job, spending time with the little ones as they race to see who will become the next star leader dog. Suitable for adults and always a hit with the kid.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Most travelers can participate
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- If you are traveling with small children/infants and require a guaranteed car seat, you must bring your own or arrange for your own transportation. We cannot guarantee the availability of child seats in our transport.
- The tour is sold as a complete package with all services included. Using your own transport is optional, but the price remains the same. Activity cannot be guaranteed in case of late arrival.
- Minimum to run the tour is 2 persons
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required

It was an amazing experience from the initial hike with the dogs, to puppy play time, and free time with the adult dogs. The views on the hike was magical in the snow. The fish stew was tasty and all the staff members were friendly and positive.

I really loved this experience! It was great that you get picked up in town and taken out to where the dogs live. We first met the very young puppies. We sat in a circle and let them explore. We then took the older puppies for a walk. They are crazy and very strong! The employees how you how to attach the harness. They will certainly pull you. Be prepared. We did not walk them too far because it was rather hot outside the day I was there. Lastly, we got to see all the adult dogs and give them pets. We also got a nicely prepared lunch. The property was also beautiful.

Had a wonderful day! Pick up and drop off from a very central location. Time with the puppies on a training walk and exercise and then a hike with the older dogs. Lunch, a slice of cake and coffee were included. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

What a fun experience! Had the best day with the dogs. We first took the puppies out for a walk which was a bit chaotic but so much fun. Then took a few older dogs out for a walk. Finally got to spend time in the dog yard and cuddle all the adults. They are very happy and loving dogs. Clearly well cared for and given plenty of affection all day. I was grateful for the waterproof clothes and boots they provide because it does get dirty. I highly recommend this tour. Especially if you’re a dog lover like me.

So much fun! A definite must do! We had the opportunity to play with, cuddle and experience the husky puppies up front and personal. They are all well cared for and respected. We played training games with them. Met the older puppies and took them for a walk. And then interacted with the older dogs who were also so excited to get cuddles! A delicious fish soup lunch followed the experience.

Such a fun experience! They have so many dogs and it was so much fun getting to meet and love on them. They provide you with rain shoes, pants, and jackets. Lunch was incredible! If you want to see small puppies plan to go in the summer, they plan their litters so that the dogs are gone a bit by winter. Overall a fun experience

10/10 this was amazing. Lots of puppy play time. If you are on vacation and missing your dogs at home please do this. It filled my cup. They are all taken care of very well. Staff very transparent on care for the dogs. Lots of cuddling and kisses. I was even able to walk a couple of them. Highly recommend. Staff is excellent.

A wonderful day out! We loved playing with the puppies and taking the older pups for a walk. The dogs are so friendly. The staff were brill and lunch was delicious (even for vegetarians). Highly recommend!

This trip was the highlight of our holiday, we loved spending time with these lovely puppies and adult dogs, it was so fun to help train them and see how they're looked after. We had a delicious lunch (fish soup for the meat eater and couscous for the vegetarian) followed by chocolate calender by the fire. We took around 200 pictures and they're all so cute.

One of the best things you can do in the Summer here, we spent a lot of time with puppies that are 8 weeks, 10 weeks and 5 months old. Then of course with the adults. Super cute, super cuddly and we learned a lot about huskies. Highly recommended if you love dogs, huskies or just a nice day out in nature with animals.
The lunch was also great outdoors in the sun or indoors in the coziest hut!

The whole day was great. The guides were helpful, informative, and fun! The dogs were all adorable, from the young puppies to the older working dogs. The fish soup for lunch was delicious, and to top it all off, we had beautiful weather. Such a great day!

We had a rather long hike to help train two puppies , however we had free rein to interact with all of the other dogs. They all are well-fed, have great teeth, and seem very friendly. We had a simple delicious lunch. If you love dogs, this is dog heaven!

Wonderfully informative guides, dogs well looked after. Food was delicious. Definitely book this if you are interested in dogs. We all loved seeing the older huskys as well as the puppies.

The staff was excellent! Unfortunately it was hot weather and the puppies tired out quick. But the staff did a great job of keeping us busy with the adult dogs. I will say it was sad to see the adult dogs chained up, but good to know they are exercised.

And worth every cent. Nadja our guide was friendly, warm and very knowledgeable about all the dogs. She showed us how to handle the puppies and react to the mothers. We went for a walk with the babiesdogs and the teenagers and had a lot of fun. The dog farm is really well cared for and you can see the dogs are not scared of humans. After the funfilled time we had a really good lunch (fishsoup and homemade focaccia and chocolate cake). They even catered for my daughter who can’t eat either dairy or wheat. I can only recommend the tour to everybody

We had a wonderful morning with the huskies, they are all very loving dogs. The puppies get to your heart right away !
The staff were very pleasant and professional ,they truly love the huskies .

Despite the weather being wet and miserable this was such a fun and educational day. With both my husband and I being huge dog lovers we were completely in our element. A must do for all ages. Would definitely do again. Everything was provided such as waterproof clothing and lunch as well as pick up from hotel. All staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and curious to know where all their guests had traveled from.

This trip was everything promised and then some. Gina was an amazing tour guide and the chocolate cake was delicious. For dog/animal lovers, this place is a must visit. I would book again without hesitation.
