Make your way to Tromsø's Scandic Ishavshotel at 2.30 p.m., where you will meet your crew for a 3.5-hour fishing expedition.
Set out for fishing spots used by generations of Norwegian locals, listening to tales about local 'pirates' and looking out for Arctic marine wildlife as you travel. Cast your line for the huge halibut that inhabit these waters, then cook up your catch for a lunch on board the traditional mahogany vessel.
All fishing equipment, instruction, and full-body insulated suits are provided.
End your tour back at Tromsø harbor.

Great experience! The crew was knowledgeable and looked after us well. The whole trip was 3 hours, we did some fishing, the crew cooked it later. It was fun, views were amazing, crew suggested restaurants for us and a cable car experience. Highly recommend!

We caught fish! Our captain and host were so friendly and accommodating. We got to eat our catch. I love that it was a small group only. My boys loved the cookies.

The guides were kind and helpful and the views were lovely. All 3 hours were dedicated to fishing which is exactly what I was looking for.
HOWEVER - I think the tour operator should have known better than to to take the ship out with a broken bathroom and broken radar…

I highly recommend this fishing experience with Kenneth and Jack, the captain.
Both very sympathetic and professional.
They made everything they could to find nice fishing spots and they did so beyond our expectations. Within 45 minutes, we fished more than 20 cods ! Some of more than 10 kg.
The ship is very nice, temperature in the cabin pleasant and adequate clothing is provided to stay outside when fishing.
Coffee, tee, water, cookies, grapes at disposal.
On the way back, a fantastic fish soup is served. Just this culinary experience would be sufficient to recommend this trip.
You should definitely opt for this fishing experience with Kenneth and Jack when in Tromso.
It was by far our best experience in Tromso, with the dog sledding.

Nice sea trip. Fishing takes place close to the port so very little navigation. The driver and the attendant are very kind.
