Great experience to tick off bucket list of seeing the Northern Lights. The guides helped us in viewing and photographing. Amazing!

Our guides, Paolo and Jeanne, were nice and provided a lot of interesting insights about Tromso and the Northern Light phenomenon. We had the chance to see Northern Lights, this was a good day with good solar intensity. Paolo took nice pictures and they can be downloaded for free from the site...if you choose the liw resolution pictures ( 300K). If you want high resolution pictures, it is 300 NOK per picture...it isnot fair

Nice camp and guides. Provided good explanation of northern light made greate photos and told interesting stories

We knew we were unlikely to see the lights due to the weather conditions, but hoped going with a guide, this may have increased our chances.
We travelled 45 minutes to another overcast and snowy area to be welcomed with hot beverages. We waited patiently in a field for an hour and a half with no signs of clearing weather. Not even the moon was visible.
We were provided with hot food (of sorts) totally unappetising, and waited again in a field until 11.45pm even though the snow was getting heavier.

Title mentioned to Lapland, but actually it's to Norway instead. anyway, overall good experience and very friendly and helpful staff.

Great guide, great snacks, overall a memorable experience.

I wish every trip can take your breath away. Loved the glistening alps surrounding the basecamp, the hot chocolate in the cold, the bon fire and cookies. Perhaps one without prior experience would miss on the point of going there - The Northern Lights - if they didn't bring a long a professional camera as mobile phones don't really capture the spectrum as well. Otherwise, a perfect getaway from the office.

Amazing. Our guide William was very knowledgable. The location was great with only a small group of people. We was very lucky the northern lights stayed out for hours and we got some amazing photographs

A completely disorganised waste of time and money. Whilst I appreciate that there is no guarantee of seeing the Northern Lights, organisation is no excuse. I received no meal...i was only told this on arrival and no camp fire. The guide did not help with setting up my camera even when I asked. Granted though there was not much to see. I sst on the bus for six hours only to get off and see the Finish border. How dull and a huge was of time and money. I would say this was thecwost tour I had ever been on, and I have been on many. Do not use this company is my clar view. I put in a complaint via Viator and to the company.

Suzanna im not sure of spelling was a lovely guide whose knowledge of the northern lights was limitless! had a great time!
Guy_P, Feb 2017
Base station was in a lovely location surrounded by snowy mountains. The coach trip was an easy run from Tromos along the fjord. The base station was less busy and commercialised than I expected, with good amenities. We had some great sightings of the Northern Lights. Our guides were great and very helpful. We met the site owner and we interviewsed by Norwegian TV! Enjoyed a lovely fish soup and homemade foccacia - scrummy. Really enjoyed the whole trip. Thank you

The tour was amazing. We had a lot of luck with the weather. We had a pleasure to see nothern lights in full brightness. I would gladly do it again some time. Would recommend to anyone who loves nature and can handle cold weather.

The travel was comfortable and the tour guide was genuinely friendly and helpful the whole night. The bus ride was about an hour and a half and during this time a documentary was played about the scientific explanation of the Northern Lights, it was interesting :. We were in luck with good weather conditions, and were blessed to enjoy them in all its glory for a good 4 hours. We opted for the tour with the meal, I wasn't impressed. The money added to the tour, for just one bowl of light dinner, was not worth it. The meal was delicious, but there was hardly any meat in it and it was over-priced for me. The environment was very nicely prepared - the fires, the benches, the drinks. Overall we are very pleased with this organisation, and it is definately a night to remember. :

A really lovely evening where the highlight was our extremely knowlegeable guide who gave us a clear and scientific explanation of everything to do with the northern lights. He was also an expert photographer and took beautiful photos of us showing the northern lights even though cloud cover was quite heavy and the green lights were only just peeping through. This tour uses a big comfortable bus which goes out to one of the base stations, in our case this was a Sami reindeer herder centre where we had a hearty traditional meal around a roaring fire. It was a comfortable homely evening, where we learned a lot, including talking to our Sami host. The lights were disappointing that particular night, had they been good it would have been perfect because of our guide's wonderful photography.

This tour was outstanding! My fiancée and I have always wanted to see the Northern Lights and were not disappointed in Feb 2016. The guides know everything there is to know and are more than happy to take the time to speak with you. Absolutely epic tour and people! Cannot recommend enough.
tricia.burritt, Apr 2016
Pleasant guide and well organised although the size of the coach meant that the route to find the best show of the lights was restricted
Denzel S, Mar 2016
Good value for money as it's much cheaper than private tours and you will see the lights either way unless it's completely overcast. Apparently there are different basecamps that can be used depending on the forecast which is another bonus. Our guide was friendly enough but didn't mention that we could have had our photo taken for later download so not many knew about this. A group photo would have been fun. Thermal suits and tripods are also available if needed but take warm clothes and a decent camera. Overall a good night--clothes smelt of campfire smoke days later!

We did see the Northern Lights! No luck till on our way back when they appeared. The driver pulled over to a layby as soon as he could. As the night was cloudy a lot of the time we were fortunate to see anything at all. Of course, the show wasn't as bright as it can be but we did see something.
Ashwin S, Mar 2016
Very knowledgeable and friendly crew, thanks for a pleasant experience.
Martin S, Feb 2016
I like that they have several sites to view the Northern lights from which does improve the chances to view them. The tour guide are very knowledgeable on the subject and also offer advice on how to successfully capture the northern lights with your camera. There were also options to pre-purchase a hot meal and also offer a hot drink. Having a warm room when it's cold outside was also a great feature.
I liked the tour so much I went back again for a second time.
susan d, Feb 2016

Amazing. The show began immediately we arrived and lasted all night. Alexandre, the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and extremely helpful to everyone setting their cameras. Brilliant tour would love to do it again.
Kenneth L, Jan 2016
The tour was great. The host and the driver were really accommodating and helpful and the guide provided a lot of great information. I was led to believe that the provided meal would be more substantial than the fish soup, however the soup was delicious.
Danielle R, Jan 2016
Leading up to this tour i didn't hold out much hope of seeing any lights, as the day before and the day i went out it was cloudy and snowing for the most part. But they take you out to base stations away from the city, and to my surprise, only an hour away, we got clear skies and had a good showing of the lights. Amazing to see. I paid for the meal, which was a surprisingly nice fish soup, the only problem was that i didn't want to waste the time in the hut to eat the soup in case i missed more spectacular lights. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were available, as was the free use of tripods for your camera if you didn't have one. I certainly made good use of that.
Ray B, Jan 2016
One of the greatest tours I have ever been on.
The lights were fantastic and our guide even set up a camera clinic for those with problems, the whole evening was just fantastic. Great tour Great Guide, Very well organised.
Steven M, Jan 2016
Enjoyable evening with a great tour guide who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We experienced brief flashes of the northern lights but not a spectacle on this occasion - cloud cover counted against us.
Laurie C, Jan 2016
Our guide, Ricardo, was great and had a lot of useful and interesting info about the area, the aurora, etc. We went to a great basecamp about 45 minutes away, great reindeer soup and delicious bread and lefse, ability to purchase beer and wine. We sat by the fire and talked and walked around the area a bit. The only drawback I found was that there were too many people - 2 or 3 buses ! With one bus say 50 people it would have been more intimate, but with over 100 it was kind of ridiculous not enough place by the fire, or in the hut and made it a little more chaotic. We sort of saw the lights, they looked more like moving clouds but green in the pictures. Ricardo was great helping set my camera so I could get a good picture. A pretty good experience all in all, just too many people.
Ann P, Dec 2015
Whilst I realise that there are no guarantees, it was obvious on the night I booked that there was no chance of lights, as predicted by aurora forecasts. A two hour drive in the rain to sit for a couple of hours in a cabin then come back again. I didn't book food -felt left out. Should be canceled.
