Dress very warm.
Our tour guide Mansoor went above and beyond to make sure we got to see Aurora.
Sitting down around fire pit out of nowhere was beautiful.
He had halal marshmallow to make smores!

Pick up was near accommodation. Guide was excellent and very good at finding aurora. Really enjoyed the marshmallows sweet treat and drinks at the camp fire stop.

The tour operators arrived late to the location and there were a 100 plus people waiting it was utter chaos! The operators who were there were not helpful! After waiting what seemed like an eternity we were the last people assigned a tour group along with 4 others. Once the tour began, Aram was great about finding the perfect spots. He provided beautiful photos after the event.

The ten last days in December are the busiest time in the year. Especially the Christmas time.
The city center of Tromsø is small and sooo many companies start from the same area. It can be a challenge to find the right guests during that time.
Anyway once you were checked in we are happy you were satisfied with your tour and guide and that the photos you got were great as well.
The crowded start doesn't justify 3 stars but anyway. Have a nice day.😊

Well prepared guides who help you find and take great pictures of the Northern Lights! They have thermal suits available and make a campfire, but be sure you have adequate gear to keep your feet and hands warm! We were outside for 3 hours because the lights were near Tromso so we were able to enjoy them for longer.

The guide Mansoor was very knowledgeable and could spot northern lights when others didn't. He did all he could to get people involved, but also let them in the min buses to stay warm. There was limited activity and guides made sure people got a chance to look at when lights were visible

What a brilliant night! We were concerned that the poor weather conditions would ruin our chances of seeing the Aurora. Aram, was honest that he could not guarantee finding the lights and gave everyone the opportunity to bear with him and we all did. We had done an unsuccessful trip with another company last year, however Amazing Arctic Tours were different that as a guide, Aram genuinely had the knowledge and experience, and found us a good spot near the border. Rather than dash around, he predicted we had a chance at the selected location - he was spot on! And we got the amazing display we had hoped for! Thank you Aram.

This was our first tour booked in Tromso for the Northen lights and it was fantastic. Our tour guide was Mansoor, who was very knowledgeable and worked hard to get us to the right places to see the lights. It was a very long night, but very well worth it when you get to tick off the bucket list. Thanks!

The guide drove for two deep inland to find a prime viewing spot. His excitement was palpable, and he gave background both on the lights-and was patient in taking pictures for the group and setting up everything. And, well, the lights danced. 5/5 and would highly recommend.

Mansoor simply knew what he was doing and took us to many different spots with clear skies and of course we saw the aurora! He was polite, experienced and cared for all our needs. There were also a fire to warm us, cake, hot chocolate and marshmallows. He insisted on finding many different spots and took participants' pictures with the aurora. Finally he dropped us off at our hotel. Thank you Mansoor! If I came to Tromso again and took a tour, I'd choose you again!

Unnecessary stops, loud music and stressful narration. Definitely do not recommend this ride at all. Very overpriced for what you get.

We would like to clarify the points you mentioned.
"You said unnecessary stops"
We started the tour on that day at 8pm and it is not getting dark before 11pm so as I described it in the beginning we will make some stops for you to enjoy the arctic nature and landscape and at the same time cover the time that we had until darkness arrived. Other guests loved it because you got a landscape tour beside of your Aurora tour.
" Loud music"
We played one popular song for each group from their home countries. Other guests liked it and our brasilian and Indian guests were dancing and enjoying that home feeling while sitting around the campfire in the Arctic night. You didn't like it so but we are fine with this and we often get very positive feedback.
" Stressful narration"
Don't know what you exactly mean with that but we always try to explain as much as possible to give useful information to our guests. If you mean it was too much for you.?
"Overpriced" is something relativ and you always compare prices and service before booking. What you pay and what you get is no secret.
Unfortunately the light activity was not very strong and some people try to find something to blame for the low solar activity.
Even you don't recommend our tours we wish you a wonderful stay in Norway.👋🏼😊

Worth every penny! Our expectations were low but the outcome was high. Weather was not great, and we were first tour of the season…but at the very end we were able to see the beautiful northern lights! Seeing wild reindeer and moose along the way were just icing on the cake. Guide is very smart and knows the best places to go and what to look for. We had a small group of 5. The bonfire, marshmallows and delicious cake were all bonuses. We got back about 2:30-3 am and although tired.. it was totally worth it! Highly recommend.To our wonderful guide: Thank you so much for a lovely tour last night! It was wonderful. How can we get photo that you took of husband and I in front of the Aurora? We are happy to purchase. Thank you!

It was really a memorable night. The very first tour of the season and got see reindeer and moose as well.
So it turned to be a reindeer safari, a moose safari included in the Aurora chasing safari.😊

Holy cow, what an experience! It was one of the last tours of the season and we decided last minute to take a chance and book since the possibility of the northern lights showing up was increasing based on an app we were following. And the weather had JUST cleared up. Mansoor was an amazing tour guide!! He made a few scenic stops to give us an opportunity for photos on the way to the area to see the northern lights. Literally the first stop we went to, the northern lights showed up!! It was very dim at first but within the 2-3 hrs we were there, it came through many times with a few times with very strong aurora activity (green even without using the camera to view!). Monsoor helped capture some amazing photos and just made the overall experience a night to remember!

Yes you are right it was one of the last tours of the season actually it was a post season tour. We had aour last tour on hte 15th of April buut because of the demand of some guests that wanted us to organize a tour for htem we started one more day on the 16 th April. And you saw that even post season is possible to see the Aurora. But with little bit more luck than normally during the season. ;))

Mansoor and Adil were extremely courteous and sincere. I was travelling with my mother and they always gently helped her up and down the difficult landscapes. They took good photos of us (even on our phones)- and offered often to help take pics. They also taught us to take good pictures! ( all of this above and beyond the photos they took as part of the tour). They were very helpful, sincere and well organized. I highly recommend this tour!

Our guide Mansoor was amazing and showed us exactly how to take photos of the lights, was able to see them even when super dim, and we waited it out until we saw the most amazing lights across the sky. The hot chocolate and bonfire were amazing touches.

Mansoor clearly new exactly where to take us despite there being very few gaps in the clouds. On arrival he briefed us on what to look out for, and how best for us to capture photos. We we're treated to a great display! Mansoor took care to make sure he captured individual photos for us of every group under the lights - and at no extra charge. At the end, we had hot chocolate and marshmallows around the campfire, while Mansoor told us more about the lights. All in all, a great evening. Thank you!

We had a wonderful guide, photographer & driver ... Mr.Mansoor; who had the difficult task of single handedly managing a group of 21 ppl in 2 vehicles (mini van & mini bus).
He took lot of efforts in ensuring we got the Aurora experience twice (10pm & 1am). He deserves 5 ☆ for his efforts.
I wonder why the tour operator (Amazing Arctic Tours) can't have a dedicated driver so that the guide is free to focus on the tourists.

Seeing the NL ‘s for 2.5 hours, great locations picked by driver, professional courtesy, ( group pictures taken by driver however did not receive them via email yet), drivers made the whole experience fun even helped us with cell phone camera settings which produced great pictures.

Omg, we had been lucky to see the lights the previous 3 nights but our trip out of the city meant we saw them in all their glory. We were given such an amazing show.our 2 hosts were friendly and helpful ), ensuring everyone had a great time, we weren't too cold and helped with getting amazing photos. They also took several photos of our family for us to keep. We had 2 stops to see lights and saw on both occasions so didn't need to stay out all night. The bight was finished with cake hot choc and marshmallows 😋. We were dropped back at hotel whixh was great with 2 sleepy young kids.
