So we really thought there was no chance of seeing the Northern lights. The weather was auful, heavy snow storms all night. Our guide Diego however was hopeful and had the driver head to the border of Finland, over 2 hours away. The snow blizzard however just got worse and worse. Then we stopped, just passed the border and he said for us to get out. There was a break in the sky, mimimal clouds and stars, and low and behold, by some miracle , we got the most beautiful light display. A special thanks to the bus driver Andrew, who kept us safe throughout.

I was intentionally looking for someone else than "Norwegian Travel". And you just faked a service working just a proxy agent for them. A rubbish! I was not happy with them a year aho, so I was not now. Miserable communication from guides ... overpaid service.

Aurora couldn't be seen with the eye.

The tour guide lowered our expectation as soon as the bus started. We were told that most photos are edited and what we see in the photos can'tbeseenwith the naked eye. We wonder if the photos posted by this tour operator are also edited, but we can't say for sure. There was no 'chasing'. We were taken to one location We were told that the Northern Lights can be seen only through the camera on that day at that location. No effort was made by the guides to go to a better location. Overall below expectation.

Beautiful lights but mediocre guides

Overall a nice tour, the guides were not in a rush to get home, so we had a lot of time to see everything and we stayed longer than scheduled- really nice. However the speaker in the bus were not working properly so we didn’t get much “guiding” and the guides seemed not that interested in teach about the northern lights or giving information, so we didn’t get a picture with the professional camera because they didn’t tell us were they sat up the camera, and there were so many people from other busses that you got really confused who your guide was. But we saw the northern light so over all a good trip

Wonderful Tour and Guiides

Booked the Northern Lights tour with Norwegian Travels. Tour started a bit late due to some difficulty with the bus. However, we quickly went outside the city to view the lights. We were very lucky as the lights began to appear immediately after we arrived. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with taking pictures. We also went to a second location where the Aurora was equally prominent. Overall, great tour and well facilitated.

Pick a smaller tour!

I recommend taking a smaller group tour than this big bus tour. Two full busses drove out 20 minutes and just parked for the night with 4 red tower lights in the background. There are so many gorgeous places to take pictures, it was a disappointing location. And with so many people, someone was constantly walking in front of your camera shots.

Disappointed - a lot of waiting and no show.

While I fully understand no guarantee that he Northern light will not show. I was disappointed in this tour. I felt the guides could have done more to help pass the time. When it was clear the lights would not happen, call it earlier and head back. Getting back the hotel at 1:30 was un needed.

We saw the lights!

Our guides worked very had to ensure that we saw the lights. We changed locations 3 times going from to Tromso to coast to northern area. The lights were beautiful! We had done a previous small group tour and they provided small camp stools to sit around the fire. This tour was a lot of standing. Would definitely recommend this tour but if you’re a little older like our group I’d probably consider the small group tour. The bus was very crowded.

pay money to take 6 hour at bus ,cant see anything ..i think.it such call 6hour bus trip.very disappointed on that .

A pesar de que no teníamos las mejores previsiones metereológicas porque había mucha nubosidad, los guías hicieron todo lo posible cambiando de ubicación en hasta tres ocasiones, y conseguimos verlas, aunque muy tenues.
