The trip started with miscommunication about how to meet the driver after leaving the ship. Ride to Venice was comfortable in Mercedes vans but takes 2 hours. Smooth transition to water taxi. Guide was good and gave narrative about the main sites. The description of the excursion indicated that would see inside buildings (especially the palace) but we never went in any building. The period of free time means that one probably should preorder tickets.

1) To prevent any confusion, we highly advise careful attention to the “Pickup-Meeting” section of this tour description and the precise pick-up instructions sent to your email and phone 36 hours prior to your tour start time.
2) The "Inclusions" section lacks mention of any admission.
3) “Additional Information” section notes that due to the limited timeframe available during cruise stops, passengers will not have time to explore interiors.
4) The duration of the transfer from Trieste to Venice is clearly stated in this tour description as 2 hours ( one way)
5) The free period signifies nothing else but free time - an opportunity for leisure, lunch, shopping, strolling, and the like.
