Benjamin was fantastic! We actually got off of our ship early and went for a coffee and a pastry. He came to our location rather than forcing us to go back to the original meeting point. He was extremely personable sharing information and answering all of our many curious questions about the region. The car was beautiful and very comfortable. Benjamin also made a point to drop us off right where we needed to go, which as tourists, we didn't even know we needed. Thank you so much, Benjamin, for an incredible journey from Trieste to Venice!

Wrong meeting point

Need to establish a meeting point in advance. We did not carry functioning cell phones, which significantly delayed locating the driver. We were told by the port officials to wait where the vans were, but the driver was waiting elsewhere. We finally connected after we borrowed a cell phone from another driver, but this was after waiting in frustration for over 45 minutes in the wrong location.

Very professional! Safe, clean vehicles. Only downside was we had to pay extra for the water taxi to our hotel. This was not originally disclosed during our booking.

Poor Transfer.

Our group did not have good experience with this transfer. Avoid this if you want to get to Venice without delay. First, we were told to expect a transfer for 12, what we received were two vehicles, the First seated four - uncomfortably. The driver had never been on this route, did not speak English, and eventually got hopelessly lost. The second vehicle, a van did not seat the comfortably fit the remaining eight people; we were one on top of the other. Finally, the luggage too forever to fit into either vehicle, and when I asked for another car, I was told nothing was left. The driver of the van who spoke some English told the “boss” to never call him again for a job. Later, over drinks we laughed it off, but do yourself a favor and avoid this clown show.

We sent in an itinerary...

We sent in an itinerary to Viator. We asked that it be given to the transfer company. Everything was there including the time of pickup, a short trip through Trieste, A stop at the Miramar Castle and drop off at the Hilton Garden Inn. I even asked if they had received the entire itnerary. They had. However, when we reached our destination at the Hilton Garden Inn, the company requested an additional $80 Euro and I said NO. I gave my whole itinerary to both Viator and the company that served us and I said No because they gave us the price of the whole itinerary. I hate it when someone does this at the very end.

As a private transfer company, our product listed on Viator strictly covers transportation between destinations and does not include additional stops or short trips unless explicitly requested and arranged in advance. In this case, you requested a 2-hour stop at Miramar Castle, which is not part of our standard service. We communicated with you about the additional cost of €80 for this extended stop, and you agreed to this in advance. We can provide our text message correspondence and the agreement for the additional payment to driver. Please note that a 2-hour stop is not a minor detour but a significant addition to the service, which impacts scheduling and costs. We value transparency in pricing and strive to meet our clients’ expectations, but additional services do require adjustments. Despite that in the end we didn’t charge you additional service. If needed, we are happy to provide a copy of the agreed payment from your side for the additional €80. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for choosing our service. We can send you proof of agreement for additional payment if you would want to check our records.
