The bus ride from Trieste to Venice was over 2 hours each way. There was nothing from the tour guide either direction. A little about the city, etc would have been nice. The "tour" in Venice amounted to walking over 4 bridges to the square. Not much

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Please allow me to clarify a few points:
1) Transfer Time: Venice is approximately two hours from the cruise port, and unfortunately, travel time cannot be shortened. While we do our best to make transfers comfortable and efficient, the journey duration is dictated by distance
2) Guide Services: The transfer portion of the tour does not include guide services. This information is clearly stated in the “Additional Information” section of the tour description, and we encourage guests to review these details before booking.
3) Tour Duration: We recommend to address this concern to your cruise line as the total tour time is determined by their schedule - a 7-hour window was available for our tour, with approximately 4 hours dedicated to transfers and 3 hours available to explore the city, including free time.
For future bookings through Viator, we kindly recommend basing your expectations on tour description and inclusions, instead of personal assumptions. Wishing you safe and enjoyable travels ahead.

It is just a big bus tour with 40+ strangers. There was no bottled water, despite its written description. Otherwise, it is fine just to superficially touch Venice. Tour guide and bus drivers were quite professional and friendly.

This trip was a large group tour. The description was very misleading. There were two buses full of people versus a personal driver and guide as the description suggested. Due to the large crowd it took forever to get to the tour because we had to wait for so many people to use the toilet or get to the meeting location or break into groups. I would not recommend this tour.

We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment. According to the tour guide, you expected a private tour rather than the shared small group tour you booked. Please note that on Viator, private tours are clearly labeled as PRIVATE, and they are typically priced at three times the cost of shared tours. If you prefer a more flexible experience without waiting for fellow cruisers using restroom, we would definitely recommend booking a private tour in the future. Unfortunately our ship couldn’t get into Trieste. We were really looking forward to this tour. The operator and Viator were quick to respond to this situation and our money was refunded extremely fast without any problems. This is why we use Viators and always will.
