VERY personable driver/guide. For a young man he communicated well and was very knowledgeable. However, I booked the night cruise, but was contacted by the company the day before, that it was no longer available. They were able to get us on an earlier cruise, but it wasn't the experience I wanted when booking. Secondly, the total time of the tour was promoted as approximately 2-1/2 hours. It was actually 4 hours. Luckily, I had no other plans arranged.

The Toronto night tour was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Cezar was wonderful. He picked my friend and I up at our meeting spot and he was a wonderful from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about Toronto history and I loved visiting the distillery district. My friend was struggling with her hip and had trouble walking however Cezar was very understanding and accommodating. The tour guide on our boat tour was amazing as well. We went on our tour Aug. 27th.

I really enjoy the activity!! I was a little disappointed that the company didn’t offer pickup and drop in the airport area, but it was worth the hassle to get there. Very informative and our guide was very helpful

Disrespected our country!!

Ansar was our tour guide for the evening. He was awesome at showing sites of interest and reflecting on the history of Toronto. My daughter and I enjoyed that very much. BUT, the part we did not enjoy at all was Ansar's disrespect and constant negative opinion of our country of citizenship and origin. We tolerated his opinions and comments for about 1.5 hours of the tour, then could not take it any longer and voiced our disgruntlement of his constant beratement of our country!! We booked this tour to see the sites of Toronto, learn the history, enjoy the beautiful city and learn about Canada. Never once did we give OUR opinion of Canada!! We were extremely disappointed to be so disrespected because of Ansar's personal opinion, PLUS, giving this negativity of our country to the other Italian gentleman on the tour. Ansar even went so far to advise us to vote for "a brainless career politician and to vote more wisely the next election!" How rude is that!! I would recommend this tour and ferry experience to visitors, but request that Ansar is NOT your guide!!

The visit is truly fascinating and magical. It includes a sightseeing tour of the city and a stop at the iconic distillery district—which, in our case, featured live music. Shopping enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy there. The highlight of the trip, however, is the boat cruise: it offers a stunning and unique perspective of the Toronto Islands and the city's magnificent skyline.

Misleading description

Worst Viator experience. Very misleading info given in description. Says tour takes 2.5 hrs, it was actually over 4. Says you will be dropped off at distillery district where you can shop or eat. They drop you off AFTER 10:00 pm so everything is closed. Ridiculous. Such a huge waste of time when we had limited time in Toronto. Also said Cherry Beach would be a stop. It wasn’t. The place they dropped us for food was Beavertails and who wants a beavertail for dinner? We were all very disappointed as were the other people on the tour that we didn’t know.

Once everyone was picked up, our group split between harbor tour (great sunset and amazing views!) and the CF tower. The tour of Toronto really began when we got back together. Our tour guide was great with lots of interesting info and some fun places to stop for pics. Really got our moneys worth.

The tour guide TJ (apologies if I’ve got your name wrong!) was excellent, friendly and engaging and provided us with thorough instructions on what would happen during the tour. He was enthusiastic and incredibly informative when we asked questions. Covered lots of areas of interest, Distillery District, City Hall and even recommended Beavers Tails which were delicious! Highly recommend

Not just a Harbour tour

This tour delivered so much more than I expected. Prior to the cruise we had about 40 minutes of narrative and scenic driving. Then the harbor tour for 50 minutes. Then another hour of scenic driving and narrative with a few stops. Ansar was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable and personable, Highly recommend

I arrived a late to the city - traffic was terrible! Ansar, our local guide texted me a good hour before the tour to inform me he would be picking us up. I think he waited about ten or fifteen minutes for us - big thank you to him. He showed us a few sights on the way to the harbour. The guide on the cruise itself wad good and humorous. Great opportunities for scenic photos of the city skyline and relaxation on the water. The cruise lasted about 90 minutes. Afterwards, Ansar drove us around the distillery and City Hall telling us a bit of the city’s history. Very informative and very passionate.

Ainslie was a great guide! She knew so many fun and unique facts along the tour. Was a personal experience with the guide. The boat ride around islands was filled with views of the wildlife and facts about the city. The boat guide had some fun jokes!

What a disaster

What a disaster. I was told to be at the pick up point at 7pm. The van didn’t arrive until 7:55pm. I messaged the tour provider, he kept yelling me the Van would arrive “momentarily”, to be patient and that the delay was due to heavy traffic. The other people on the tour said the provider hadn’t bothered to contact them about the delay even though he had their details too. The Harbor cruise was ok, but this wasn’t run by the main tour company, Tour Shepherd. Four people left the tour and when we got to one of the tour highlights, the taste of Vietnam festival, we were so late that the the stalls were all shutting down and they were turning off all the lights. The guide, Nissan, tried to make the best of a bad situation, but this was the worst tour I’ve been on. It was so bad I’m requesting a refund

We really enjoyed our tour. Ihsan (our tour guide) was very kind, considerate and knowledgable. He gave us interesting insights into different sections of Toronto, including the Old Town Hall, the underground path, Chinatown and the Distillery District. He was someone who clearly knew the city and appreciated Canadian culture. The harbor cruise really gave some great vantage points of the city's skyline during sunset. I'd highly recommend this tour, and having Ihsan as our guide made it truly special!
