What better place to learn about spirits than a distillery! Canadian history
The experience was awesome! Our guide, Carolyn, was great. I’ve never gone on a ghost tour, but after this experience, would do it again! It was a mix of history about the distillery and Canada along with a few ghost tales collected from the area. Carolyn was a great storyteller!

Where Grains Become Gold: Touring the Distillery from Mill to Brandy
Erik brought the 19th-century Gooderham & Worts distillery to life with fascinating details about how the site evolved from a humble milling operation into one of the world’s largest whiskey producers. His storytelling struck the perfect balance between historical facts, humor, and local anecdotes — it felt more like a conversation with a passionate intellectual and a seasoned guide.

  • The streets are cobblestone so wear sturdy, comfortable shoes.

  • Pack weather-appropriate clothing, as most of your time will be spent outdoors. Should it rain, there are lots of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafés where you can find shelter.

  • Take a camera. The district’s red-brick facades and quaint gables make excellent photo backdrops.
