Viator gave us no indication of how to meet up with our group. No look for a ‘yellow’ umbrella. Nothing. Details were to meet at the plaza de Ayuntamiento when in fact it was in front of the ticket office of the cathedral. So we missed the first 15 minutes of the tour and had to buy our tickets into the cathedral. Our English tour was actually 60% Spanish and 40% English so that was a disappointment. I wanted a tour to explore all the details of the cathedral which we missed many. The guide was knowledgeable but her company should have advertised it was a dual language tour and I would have been prepared.

I would rather have had an audio self guided tour . The tour guide was informative but spoke very rapidly . Her English was very good.. but listening to a Spanish accent and rapid fire speech in an already crowded area was difficult for me to follow. She was so kind .. to point out details that I had missed during her presentation. She “ read her audience “ and attended to each member in our small group… even offering translations in both English and Spanish to our group.

Rachel (our guide) was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and because we were such a small group(8) she was able to take her time and answer our questions. She was able to switch between English and Spanish fluently. The Cathedral was breathtaking. I would highly recommend this tour and taking time to eat at a local restaurant and visit the shops. Park away from the Cathedral because the streets near the top are very narrow and hard to navigate.

The cathedral was so beautiful and our guide was so smart and knowledgeable. His passion for his city was apparent and it was nice to see such enthusiasm.
The only criticism we have is we could not find our tour even though we were standing where the directions instructed us to stand. Viator needs to make sure when they are partnering with other guide groups there is a Viator sign.

The search for the guide. The information was incomplete. The guide was in the Plaza de ayutamiento, but there was no information about how to find him. First I asked at the tourist information, they did not know. Then to the ticket office, they did not know. Back to the Plaza where I found him by chance. Very nerve racking

I enjoyed watching the architecture and the treasure. The choir was also magnificient. The way it is preserved and kept. We were lucky because we were four people, all very close friends and spanish speaking and we had a tourist guide just for us. We didn't have to wait for the version in english.

We signed up for a 90 minute tour of the Toledo Cathedral in English and got a 90 minute tour in English and Spanish, basically meaning we got a 45 minutes tour. This caused the very nice and pleasant guide to speak super quick and her English was not good enough to speak clearly at this pace. We do recommend

My wife and I participated in this wonderful tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with all the background information we needed to truly appreciate what we were viewing/visiting. The cathedral should NOT be missed when visiting Toledo!

My guide, Mariane (not sure of spelling), was fabulous. We were very lucky to have an extremely small group. Per my request, she did the tour in Spanish only since all in group spoke Spanish. And, I was able to ask any questions I had on translation.
Aside from the tour guide, I'm not sure how anybody could give this cathedral anything less than 5 stars. The artistry, architecture and deep history are so amazing. There really aren't words to describe the experience of seeing it.
If you come to Toledo, and don't see this cathedral with an experienced informed guide, you should go to the nearest church and confess this sin!

The cathedral is absolutely stunning but learning about the different sections and the history behind them gave me a whole new appreciation for what I was experiencing. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Would highly recommend this tour.

On our tight schedule it was so helpful to have a knowledgeable and most enthusiastic guide to introduce us to this magnificent Holy Place with its rich and fascinating history. The cathedral is jam packed with beautiful symbolism not apparent to the visitor. The guide greatly enriched our experience in this holy treasure.

Tamara was great, she spoke in both English and Spanish, but I didn't feel she was spending extra time explaining in both languages. I wish I could do that! During the tour she have us enough time to take photos and/or enjoy more time looking at the beautiful atrás in the cathedral. It sure was worth the cost. Thank you, Tamara

Guide never showed up. Arrived 15 minutes early and waited after start time. Still, no guide. Also when we went to buy individual tickets to see the cathedral on our own, the ticket booth said portions of the cathedral were closed for a concert and it was best not to attend. You shouldn't have offered the tour with parts closed. You shouldn't have offered the tour with no guide.

The guide was in the meeting point with the white umbrella, waiting for you, from 4.00 pm until 4:20. The rest of the customers were there and you never appeared, so she had to start the tour. We have the conversation with our guide, and she sent us her location proving she was there.

The Cathedral is an amazing place. The detail is beyond description which is why having a guided tour is so critically important. Our guide conducted our tour in both English and Spanish. That made the continuity a bit of a challenge but she was adept at going back and forth between languages.

The cathedral is impressive. But the guide changes from Spanish to English. Doing 5 min of Spanish followed by 5 minutes of English. This is distracting and my English speaking family couldn’t follow along.
I think is best to do an English tour separate from a Spanish tour.

We met with Jesus and he gave the most impressive tour. He explained as we went throughout the cathedral. He was funny and very knowledgeable as well. Very impressed and would highly recommend!
