I highly recommend this visit to anyone exploring Toledo. Because it’s more than enough to fit for short visits , but rally unique enough to make a lasting impression. As Mr Khavier explained how all underground spaces were used over the centuries.

A Fantastic and Rewarding Exploration of Toledo

Our guide, Alejandro, was incredible! He crafted the tour to fit the needs of our group of 20+ ranging in age from infants to 60. Everyone felt catered to and loved it. It was informative and fun. Most of all - his background as an archeologist brought the sites to life for us.

We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and witty. Viewing Toledo through the history of the water supply was very informative. We saw Roman work, Arabic works and work bt the Visagoths. This was one of the most unusual tours I have taken.

Secret spaces in Toledo

Unique, small group tour: just our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) with our guide. It was different than I expected—each underground site was just a room or two and they were all very hidden from the street so it felt very secret. We walked all over the city to get from site to site which we enjoyed. Our guide’s English was good not great—hard for one family member to understand since he spoke very quickly. He was extremely knowledgeable about the sites and the city overall. Definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing experience, small group and lovely friendly guide (Anna). Really knowledgeable about everything in Toledo. We saw old Hamams and Roman baths and medieval wells, as well as a lovely walk between the sites with explanations of architecture and features of different buildings. Absolutely fantastic experience and cannot recommend highly enough, definitely do this tour!
