This really is a full day excursion! We got picked up from the North (bang on time) and taken down to the South to collect some other attendees before heading to Los Christianos port. Ferry across to La Gomera took about an hour where we then had a coach waiting to take us to various stops.
We had a choice of fish, meat or vegetarian for lunch at a restaurant. Everything was well organised but overall, I found the lunch disappointing.
Slavenia was a good guide and kept us informed throughout the day. Everything ran very smoothly. Shame we had some Sahara sand mist on the day which meant everything was very misty but you could still appreciate the views. We had a stop in the national park as well for a 30 minute walk about.
the longest stop (40 mins) was at the capital San Sebastián before getting the ferry back to Tenerife which is not a pretty town but it was nice to have a walk before the journey back.
Overall, I would recommend this trip but just be prepared for a long day!

Actual tour was ok Food wasn't really good we didnt eat the soup the main was very small and the pudding was a weird omlette type texture with a runny syrup sauce. Also included was a water or red wine !! Would of liked a white wine or a beer but wasn't an option. Stops didn't reflect the itinerary and people not on time had a knock on effect. Would recommend La Gomera but would be better paying for your own ferry and hiring a car as the roads were very quiet and easy to drive as your own leasure.

The tour on The island was excellent, fantastic guide!
The organisation before wasnt so good. I booked a pick up at my hotel, which was an available choice at the moment of booking, but then the bus never came, eventually we took a taxi to a nearby hotel where the bus was. They did whatsapp me the different pick up location, but the booking showed my hotel as the pick up, so there was confusion.
Also, you need to take a goverment ID for the ferry! We had ID, but it would be better if this requirement is clearly stated in the booking info.

The actual tour was OK. The only problem was that the tour guide kept turning away from us when she was talking so I couldn't hear her, and she had a very slow, soporific voice so it was hard to stay awake! The commentary was in English,French,German and Spanish, which I expected, but normally they speak in one language, then the other. However, she seemed to keep mixing them up, so I think I missed stuff.
The real problem, and the reason for the low score, was the transfer from Puerto de la Cruz to Los Cristianos. When the driver arrived, first of all the driver asked us if we had luggage! Then at every stop, there was a problem, the guests weren't there, clearly a break down in communication at some point. He did say it was his first time doing it, and I hope it was his last. He was huffing and puffing and shouting. It took us about an hour and a half to go two miles from our hotel. By then, I was worried we were going to miss our ferry, he couldn't reassure us and drove hell for leather along the twisty turny mountain roads, whilst sighing and playing loud music. I don't normally get travel sick and I've travelled on those roads before but I felt really sick and frightened. When we got to Los Cristianos he just abandoned us in a car park! Fortunately, my friend had the number of the Tour Company and she phoned them and they told us to wait in the ferry terminal. I wouldn't have been able to use the phone at that point as I was shaking so badly.
Coming back, it was completely different. We had a lady driver and she drove very smoothly along the main roads with no shouting. It might have taken a little longer but was much more pleasant and I felt safe.

The initial pickup bus driver very irate, thought we were going to miss the ferry. Bus break down on la Gomera so the itinerary was changed leading to a very late lunch and missing out part of the tour

Enjoyed full day experience of driving around La Gonera. Had several opportunities to get out of bus and had a good lunch.
One mprovements: limit narration to one language. It was in English and French which meant guide was talking all the time on the bus. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Lovely day driving around in a comfortable bus and stopping for photos and a nice lunch with a demonstration of the whistling language. Then a chance to walk in a park with the laurel Silva trees and hang out at San Sebastian before catching the ferry back to Tenerife. We enjoyed it very much and it was a good value.

The tour guide speaks in multiple languages during the entire day. You don’t get a lot of info in your own spoken language since everything is repeated multiple times.

This was very much a bus tour. We stopped at around 3-4 lookout spots for 5 minutes at a time that were picture spots. As well we stopped at a few places in the national park. One of them we had some time to walk around but the rest of the stops were quite quick. The provided lunch was delicious and a highlight with a great view.
The main issue I had with this tour is that while the guide was good and able to speak 4 different languages, she did all of the speaking in English, Spanish, German and French which meant that I didn't overall feel like we got very much information despite the fact that she was speaking a ton of the bus time because she had to repeat everything 4 times.
I would have preferred to take our rental car and the ferry and explore ourselves to be honest.

Wonderful excursion for anyone who enjoys seeing amazing landscapes and the wonders of nature and ecology. The lunch was good, and the ferry ride was also an interesting experience. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and personable.

Worth every penny. A wonderful day. Guide Enrique ( spelling might be wrong ) was informative, helpful, comedic and accommodating. Bus driver Francesco did some amazing driving with that big bus and averted a potential accident with his quick thinking and skill.

The trip to La Gomera was very beautiful, Laura a very good guide. Unfortunately, the evening before the excursion, the German guide was cancelled due to illness, much to late.

Don't forget your passport. A lovely day, but be prepared for a long day. Everything was good with the right amount of time in each place. The guide Hector was extremely knowledgeable. The lunch was one of the best that we have had on this kind of trip. A very enjoyable day.

Tour itself was good. Scenery was beautiful. Guide gave presentation in 4 languages so information was limited and at times difficult to follow when she changed languages. Otherwise guide was good. We had issues with food served in restaurant.

TAKE YOUR PASSPORT!!
We where not advised to do so, and almost missed the ferry (which we had to taxi to, as the bus driver refused to wait and let us get our passports). Tour was average. Food very average. Guide not the best. Seemed to have things missing from itinerary... views great, but you could ferry accross and hire a car for much less.

However, we do want to mention that when booking, it clearly states to bring your passports, and we recommend reviewing the details provided to avoid any issues during the tour.
Regarding the cost, the prices for non residents can be higher, but we believe our tours offer great value, especially with the guided services, transportation, and the convenience of everything being arranged for you.

Good tour that takes you up to the top of the mountains but you spend a lot of time on the coach . Lunch was lovely in a great little restaurant up in the hills . St Sebastian was lovely but would have liked more time there to explore . Our tour guide was brilliant especially having to translate in 4 different languages but this made it feel like there was a lot of talking the whole trip . Overall a very good tour with great views of the island but a long 13 hour day .

Very informative with plenty of photo stops during the day. We had about an hour for lunch which was good, however details of what each course was would have been helpful as the soup I found out after was a local dish. Only downside was the ferry port was very chaotic but that was outside the guides control. Everything else went smoothly and an enjoyable day had.

From being picked up Los Gigantes to boarding the boat despite having left our passports on the dressing table, we were saved by our guide Enrico. He was absolutely amazing for the whole day. He made everyone comfortable, he was friendly almost comedic, but a consumate professional . We learnt so much and felt in safe hands throughout the day. The views were fantastic, the company good and the meal was spot on. Well worth the money and 6am rise.

A good day out, but more time could be spent at some places, such as the old town which you just whizz through, it was a nice way to see the island though. The lunch was nice and a good location.

The landscape and views were spectacular.
The transfer and ferry journey was okay with good clear communication of where to be and when.
The tour could have focused on a target language. The guide spent so much time translating the commentary was a constant drone.
Lunch was good although crammed into the restaurant. The whistle demonstration was very interesting.

I'm sorry but did not enjoy trip we stopped at places that was not worth stopping at apart for photos .The restaurant had us crammed in like sardines and food rushed and no time to enjoy it

This trip went smooth like butter.
First and foremost, if you have a hotel pick-up please make sure to confirm ahead of time. Dress appropriately for waking in the woods, bring water/snacks, and sunblock.
With that being said, our trip to La Gomera was long, informative, and amazing! We were picked up at exactly 7:55 a.m. from our hotel. There was a transfer before we made it to the ferry. Our guide was Enrique. He was hilarious. I don’t know how he has the energy to run this tour.
It takes about 1 hour on the ferry to arrive to the island. Once there we met our driver Francisco. He was very skilled at navigating those sharp turns with such a large bus. I recommend if you get car sick to bring appropriate meds with you. We stoped at several vistas to see El Tiede, San Sebastián, defunct volcanoes, and the cloud forest. At the forest, we had a quick respite for drinks and bathrooms and then went on a very short hike in the woods. We learned about the ancient laurel forest and how it filters the clouds to make everything wet. Such a huge contrast to the drier parts of the island. After the forest, a few short vista stops and then off to lunch. The food is typical of a tourist menu. Soup w/Gofio, bread, choice of fish, beef, or vegetarian, and dessert of a cheese flan. Salt, pepper, and local sauces to add flavor. Plenty of fresh water and wine. Then we could see a whistle language (Silbo) demonstration, coffee and bathroom break and then back on the bus for more vistas. Finally, we landed in San Sebastián where there was just enough time for souvenir shopping before a quick 12 minute walk back to the ferry. I would have loved to stop to see the local agriculture Bananas and Aloe Vera. There just wasn’t enough time.
Smooth transfer back to the hotel. It was a 10 hour day but well worth it.

A full day, picked up near our hotel, transfered to the ferry & collected the other side.
The road trip around La Gorema was spectacular, the coach climbed high up into the mountains on roads that saw us drive along cliff edges!!! But the views were stunning as a result 😍. Plenty of stops to get photos, eat & collect information. Lunch was at a restaurant which obviously catered for large numbers with the food being traditional local cuisine & good wine 🍷. Could of done with more time is the capital of the island when we arrived back there to catch the ferry, for us we would of been happy to miss the stop off at the centre of the national park woodland though it was very different from the rest of the island, the drive through would have been enough. Ferry trips there and back were great, very comfortable & easy accessible for our group of 4 who are all able bodied to a degree except the age related issues of some 60+. The trip is a full day and was 12hrs for us pick up to drop off from Playa la Arena

We got good weather so the views were very good. Hearing the whistling language was interesting. Unfortunately as with most day trips you spend most of the day travelling which means little time at the stops. It was a nice day and interesting to see La gomera but I don’t know if it was worth taking a full day out of your holiday.
