From start to finish, this tour was executed flawlessly. Basso somehow managed a diverse group in three different languages with total ease, never once making anyone feel left out or secondary. That alone is impressive. What really set him apart, though, was how he did it: with effortless humor, genuine warmth, and an almost uncanny attention to detail.
He was organized without being rigid, informative without being dry, and funny without trying too hard. You could tell he truly cared about the group’s experience — checking in, adapting on the fly, and making sure everyone felt comfortable, engaged, and included. That kind of emotional intelligence is rare in tour guiding.

Loved this trip! We were picked up from our hotel and taken to Los Christianos to catch the Fred Olson over to La Gomera - a fab trip around the island expertly narrated by Bassos. We had a fab fab day! Stunning views of Teide! Definitely worth taking layers of clothing because it gets colder as you get higher up the island! Breathtaking scenery :)

The tour guide was good and very knowledgeable. The tour itself just wasn't terribly interesting. It essentially was just a drive through of the island. I thing for people that just want to stay on the bus most of the time to see scenery from a very hot bus will enjoy it, but otherwise it just wasn't great. Many other amazing activities are available and Id choos them.

Would definately recommend this tour. Basso, our guide very informative and interesting to listen to. Stunning scenery on La Gomera and the tour encompassed many highlights and contrasting climates. I think we also benefited by being in a smaller group rather than the big coaches. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that our lunch stop was chaotic. Just after our small group arrived several coaches turned up and service in the restaurant was a shambles although our tour guide did step in and assist the restaurant staff. Pick up and drop off service for our hotel was also greatly appreciated.

Our guide, Bassa was truly knowledgeable and passionate. We really enjoyed having a small group. We learned many characteristics about the island and its history in the short amount of time. The new visitor center was a highlight for us.

Really the only realistic way to see La Gomera in a reasonable amount of time, because it’ll take you too long to find the good stuff on those twisty, mountain roads. Very interesting contrast in microclimates in different parts of the island. Basso is a good guide and you’ll see everything that’s important in a single day. Don’t miss the Columbus statue in San Sebastián. (This was his last port of call before leaving to “discover” America.)

We were so glad we booked this small group experience. Only 9 on our tour. We had a chance to see more places and get to talk to our fellow travellers, which was fun.
Basso our guide was excellent in every way. Knowledgeable and personable. He kept us together and on track for the timetable.
The minibus was a comfortable Mercedes and expertly driven up some very windy roads. But we felt safe in the hands of our driver.

Basso was an incredible guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We fully enjoyed every minute of this tour. Even though the weather started out hazy and foggy that day on La Gomera, the sun did come out eventually and we enjoyed some incredible views. The restaurant he took us to was absolutely fantastic. We had a great time and learned so much about the history, culture, traditions, and plants of the island! Highly recommend.

Was very interesting and Basso was an amazing tour guide providing tons of information about La Gomera, the Canary Islands generally, and anything else we asked him about. Was a long day, but it’s the only way to do a day tour from Tenerife and see as much as we did. Our day was a bit behind schedule due to a delayed ferry, which meant we had less free time at the end before the final boat, which was a bit disappointing but not the tours fault!

18 mensen moeten in een mini bus: Die lijkt gemaakt voor kinderen. De stoelen zijn veel te klein, de beenruimte is te klein en het plafondpaneel drukt bijna op je hoofd (ik ben 1,76 m en 67 kilo). Maar het ergste is: het raam begin bij je benen en eindigt op ooghoogte waardoor je helemaal niet goed naar buiten kunt kijken. Het grootste deel van deze dag zit je in die bus dus naar buiten kijken is belangrijk. Ik ben onderuit gezakt gaan zitten met mijn knieën naast de stoel voor me om zoveel mogelijk te kunnen zien. Wat is hier VIP aan: waarom betaal ik zoveel extra? De gewone grote tourbus met veel toeristen had veel meer ruimte en beter zicht. Overigens stopten we op precies hetzelfde moment bij de high lights als de massa toeristenbussen dus dat was ook niet zo VIP. Dan de gids: iemand die niet geïnteresseerd is in zijn groep, die nooit vraagt of wij vragen hebben en die de hele tijd zijn telefoon laat afgaan en privé gesprekken gaat voeren (zelfs tijdens zijn monotone verhalen over de vegetatie van het eiland, wanneer hij nog midden in een zin was). Hij beende ook met grote stappen vooruit als er weer een uitkijkpunt was zonder om te kijken of de oude mensen van de groep hem konden bijhouden (ik hield hem wel bij dus ik spreek niet voor mezelf).

Desde el inicio todo ha ido perfecto, recogida, barco, la visita por los lugares más emblemáticos y espectaculares vistas, una pena el momento yo en el parque nacional que había niebla y no vimos todos los riscos, pero cuando se fue, ha sido genial, gracias a Basso nuestro guía, un chico genial y atento.
