Itinerary
Depart your south Tenerife hotel (select hotels only) by coach and travel toward UNESCO-protected Mt. Teide National Park.
On route, enjoy spectacular views of Tenerife’s west coast and 12,200-foot (3,718-meter) Mt. Teide, Spain’s highest peak, and the park’s crowning glory.
Visit the village of Vilaflor, set in the pine-forested foothills, and absorb its cool air and quaint lanes and architecture. Then, drive through the forests to the volcanic plateau, a lunar-like plain that featured in movies like the Planet of the Apes and Clash of the Titans.
Next, traverse the Orotava Valley to Icod Los Vinos, famous for its wines and Drago Tree, the world’s oldest dragon tree. See this huge umbrella-shaped tree and learn about the reputedly healing powers of its red-colored sap, called ‘dragon’s blood.’
After free time for lunch (own expense), call at Garachico, a pretty, north-coast town that was Tenerife’s main port until a 1706 volcanic eruption.
View the old streets of mansions and monuments here before visiting Masca, a hamlet perched on a canyon ridge. With only about 120 inhabitants, this village was once a pirates’ hideout, and commands awe-inspiring views to La Gomera.
After absorbing the panoramas, your tour concludes with a hotel drop-off.

This experience with the volcano in the morning ,my ears popped, ate authentic foods for lunch 3 courses for 18E. Then back up in the mountains after lunch! The villages in between are unique to Tenerife culture not seen in the tourist track. The skills of the bus drivers on the winding roads was an unexpected THRILL! It's not all about the beaches! Become one, explore the natural beauty of the islands terrain!

We absolutely loved this trip! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and the bus driver was very good. The roads in the mountains were challenging, but our bus driver navigated them with ease.
Make sure to have good footwear on and a hoodie you can put on when you're in the mountains as the temperature difference can be quite drastic.

Good schedule. It is a perfect day trip in Tenerife. It is a good oportunity to visit Teide National Park and the road to Masca wich is breathtaking. Very good stuff and an amazing driver. You will see why it is so important.

More time should have been allocated to Mt. Teide vs trying to get everyone to join in a preset lunch. This tour is not friendly or worthwhile if you are physically challenged...that should have been made clear. Better organization of the wine tasting, it was very disorganized for a group of 34!

Very scenic, lots of time on the coach, steep hills and lots of steps, high up on windy small roads. They need to change the lunch spot as the food was not nice even though it was cheap.
Good tour guide, lots of knowledge. Great they pick you up and drop off at hotel

Really great day out. They fit a lot into the day and give you the experience of seeing the majority of the island. Teide Volcano was really cool to see with its geological history interesting to learn. Masca was an experience with the really small windy mountain roads (luckily our bus driver was very experienced as there were moments where it hit us how high we were). Our tour guide Antonio was very helpful and informative. Lunch was not included but they took us to a restaurant which had surprisingly good vegetarian options which we enjoyed.
Overall great value for money and gave me a new perspective of Tenerife. Would definitely recommend.

The whole trip was very well planned. The guide was very knowledgable and really good! The only thing i will say i wish we had more time at the Masca valley! An hour would have been great. Highly recommend!
Side note: please bring a hoodie or a jacket first stop at Mount Teide was 6 degrees

We booked this trip online prior to arriving in Tenerife. All info and pickup details were clear and a reminder sent a few days prior. We were picked up on time at the said point. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. He was organised and made sure all instructions and timekeeping were met. There is a lot of travelling across to North Tenerife but the views and places were amazing and i don't believe we would have done this on our own so we are please we did it. I would have liked to have spent more time in Garachico however it was time limited .The initial cost did not include lunch but we were given the option to add this on the day and it was a reasonably priced 3 course menu of the day and drink included. Overall I would recommend this trip but be aware it is a lot of windy, uphill driving, so if you suffer with travel sickness you might want to take some consideration of this.

The tour was great value for money and an excellent way to see the national Park as well as other parts of the island. Christophe our guide was amazing and very professional at what he does. Sets everything out clearly and imparts lots of knowledge and interesting facts along the way. The tight and windy mountains roads are plenty and a little daunting but Joel our coach driver is second to none and an obvious expert at them! Made it look easy😀 Thank you for an enjoyable day where we felt very looked after.

If we hadn't had gone on on this excursion we would not have seen Tenerife the way we did. So glad we did it. Amazing views everywhere we stopped. Tour guide was great and the driver was funny too.

Wonderful trip showing us many areas of Tenerife that we didn’t know existed. Teide was a highlight and the winding single track road showed sight after sight. Masca is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited.

This was an amazing good deal for the experience. We had a blast, and a big thank you to our guide, Christoffer from LUXEMBOURG (with 500,000 inhabitants)! He was very clear and I understood everything very well, very good guide. Only having 30 minutes at most stops did feel a bit short, however. Yet the trip took the whole day, so making the stops longer would mean you'd have to skip something so I can't complain.
The lunch wasn't much, but is more focused on local cuisine than restaurant grade dishes.
If you're unlucky being first pickup or last drop off, you might have to wait for about an hour.
Overall very satisfied, best experience for the money for sure!

I was a bit doubtful about booking this as I found it difficult to understand the guide on a previous trip. I need not have worried. Christoph was great & kept us informed about all the places we visited Luckily he only had to do 2 languages & the only french passenger sat in the front with his own personal commentary with the Mike turned off. He also would not continue if other passengers were talking so you had no distractions. Driver was also good negotiating the steep narrow roads A very enjoyable day

Very strict guide but I liked it...he made everyone shut up so we could all get informed...what I really hated was that they are pushing you to go to some not that good restaurant close to the three...and pushing you once more to taste their wine... We went to El Capitan for 1/3 of the price with amazing food...there are many wineries with great wines 2 min away...please don't be a sheep and follow them!

Was very informative, but you should advise how many feet you where go in to go up. We have a friend with a pacemaker and she couldn't continue the tour, they send her back half way. y

We were looking forward to this tour because we wanted to see Mt Teide and Masca village. Unfortunately, it was very windy and rainy on that day of our tour, so we could only get glimpses of Mt Teide and Masca Village - not having been able to spend a lot of time there, esp due to the closure of the road to the National Park due to falling rocks. The guide was very informative spoke 3 languages and the driver is remarkable for being able to manouevre the narrow, winding roads.

Great tour overall and very nice and professional guide and amazingly skilful driver! We did many stops throughout the day and was great to see lots of places from various view points - shame we didn't get even 15mins to walk around Garachico village but we saw it from a lovely viewpoint. Everyone was on time so no delays but that depends on the group dynamics of the day i guess...Highly recommend this tour if you cannot drive around yourself to all these amazing locations!! Shame just sitting around a pool all day - Tenerife has so much to see and do rather than just doing nothing all day under unhealthy sun!

Lovely tour. Saw lots of interesting and beautiful sights. Amazing rock formations at the bottom of Mount Teide. A word of warning - it's chilly up at the Teide stop-off. Don't forget you coats! Also, be prepared for long stretches spent on the coach but the views are worth it. Another word of warning - when you reach Icod de los Vinos, your tour guide may well lead you to a restaurant with a 3-course lunch menu costing 14 euros, including a glass of wine. The food was terrible! My soup was cold and my 'Paella' was nothing more than a reconstituted packet of savoury rice with a couple of bits of inedible chicken. I left it. The restaurant was called El Carmen. Take a look at its reviews! There are other places to lunch at. That aside. this is a tour well worth taking.

The tour was very nice and we did see a lot of the island, the local guide was very good, speaking 4 languages. Only bad thing was that the mini bus did not have any aircodioning and at times was very hot inside. Good trip.
