This is *not* a tour—it’s a string of ads for Fred Olsen, with quick photo stops and constant pushes to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs.
Even the “National Park” is just a brief walk to another snack bar.
FYI: Puerto de la Cruz pickup was at 6:40am, off the ferry at 11—over half the 12-hour day is spent waiting or in transit.
For an authentic experience, stay on Tenerife and visit Anaga. This was the most disappointing Viator I have ever taken. Save your money.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that the itinerary is designed to show several key highlights in a single day, which naturally involves travel time and short stops at different locations. These stops are planned to give a varied overview of the destination rather than focusing on just one area.
Regarding the mentions of promotions or optional services, these are always offered as additional choices for guests who wish to enhance their experience, but they are never mandatory.
We understand that this type of excursion may not suit everyone, especially if you are looking for a slower or more in depth visit to a specific area. Your feedback is appreciated and helps us continue improving.

The day was excellent! We were picked up on time, the ferry journey was great. The tour of the island gave a lot of information and the views are spectacular. We stopped off for lunch which we expected a small meal it was quite substantial a nice surprise! The ferry back and drop off were great. Most of all the tour guide, Fernando, was excellent!!

We got to experience two or maybe three different climates in a short time. Be sure to pack something warm for the forest.

A fantastic day trip to La Gomera, getting to know the Garajonay National Park, enjoying a authentic local lunch and strolling in San Sebastian. The guide and the bus driver also did a great job. The only negative I can list here that our ticket said pick is at 8:00 am, while we were contacted at 07:40 already, by somebody that we are about to miss the pick-up... Please communicate clearly.

What about this excursion? If I couldn't have put any stars, I would have.
Even though La Gomera is beautiful, the experience with our guide Fernando was disastrous.
For starters, the excursion was much shorter than expected. It was announced from 8am to 8pm but in reality it was from 9:30am to 5pm.
Moreover, it was planned in French especially, but the guide made us understand from the beginning that speaking in French for 2 people bothered him. Comments in French were much less detailed than in other languages, if not absent.
Then we did not see all the sites advertised in detail of the excursion, although we waited for 1h15 in an uninteresting place (children's playground).
And finally, our transfer to our hotel was not ensured, our guide asked us to walk home, claiming that it would be faster.
In short, do not hesitate to visit La Gomera but flee this guide.
