Great local guide, who knew the history as well as anecdotes and made it interesting and fun, and I would highly recommend them... also was very helpful for a restaurant recommendations and other activities beyond the tour, which was much appreciated....I recommend him for fully for any group in englishor french

Jalal was a very nice and likable kid with an interesting history. However he know almost nothing about the history of Siena-and much of what he did tell us was wrong. In fact, I knew more than him reading up for 20 minutes or so on my plane ride from the states

Jalal was an excellent, empathetic, and knowledgeable guide to the city and to his experience as an immigrant scholar in Siena. He put in extra effort beforehand to understand my interests and customize the tour. We shared stories and chatted easily for four hours. I’m a big fan of the Canadian tour operator’s philosophy and approach to storytelling and local culture outside of typical tourist experiences! The tour operator did a good job beforehand in setting expectations for this experience. This style of tour is like visiting with a knowledgeable friend for a while, rather than doing an academic deep-dive into Sienese art, culture, and history. Set your own expectations appropriately and you’ll have a fabulous experience.

We really enjoyed our walk around Siena with Chiara. She was great! We've been to Siena before but wanted to learn some additional details about one of our favorite towns in Tuscany. Meeting a local is a great way to learn more about the cultural aspects of living here as well as obtain tips about restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!
