This was probably one of the best tours we've been on. Georgia, our guide, was so much a great guide. She was very in tune with us too, knowing when she had to slow down her talking for my older mother who was not understanding and when to speed it up. She customized our tour with us and gave us so much history and lore, we fell instantly with Siena because of her. 10/10 best thing to do in Siena. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide, Giorgia, was very personable and knowledgeable. We learned a great deal about Siena and a short amount of time. A highlight was Giorgia's expertise regarding the Duomo pavement art. Truly fascinating. The pace of the tour was perfect and Giorgia walked the streets discussing it's history and views with patience.

I cannot imagine a better tour guide than Elio. He took the time to shape the tour around our interests. It was far more than we hoped for. Elio gave us insight into the Basilica, the contrade, and even shared his expertise in Tuscan wines. He has a command of history, religion, art history, and Siena culture. We had the most excellent morning seeing Siena through his eyes.

Georgia was excellent. We were late as we had car trouble but she pivoted and was able to give us a great tour of the Duomo. She is extremely knowledgeable about art history and we learned so much about the history of Siena and it's significance in Italy.

Most memorable was the fact that the youth appended. Our guide was sick and a last minute replacement was required. We thought we might be listening to rick Steve’s walking tour but no ! A wonderful guide appeared last minute . The tour was fabulous!

This is our fourth visit to Siena and third Palio. This time we brought friends to experience Palio and all that goes with it and decided to book this tour with Giulia. What a find! She is a wonderful guide, very engaging with a wealth of knowledge that you'll never hear just by reading books and articles. Her art history degree was obvious in her explanations of the artworks we saw. Giulia answered our many questions, took us to a range of very interesting places, personalised the tour to accommodate our needs, suggested visits and kept us entertained the entire time. We would all highly recommend Giulia and this tour.
