We had the pleasure of participating in a cooking class in Siena today, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish.
Under the guidance of our knowledgeable instructors, we learned to prepare several authentic Italian dishes: fresh pici pasta, delicate ravioli, light and fluffy gnocchi, and a classic tiramisu for dessert. The hands-on portion allowed us to engage directly with traditional techniques, which made the session both educational and enjoyable.
What truly elevated the class was the thoughtful service afterward. The team skillfully cooked all the dishes we had prepared and served them to us with excellent local wine. It was wonderful to experience the full cycle of making and then savoring true Italian food in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Siena who wishes to immerse themselves in the rich culinary heritage of Italy. The combination of learning, creating, and enjoying these exceptional dishes created memories that will last long after our trip. Thank you for a truly memorable and enriching afternoon.
A sincere five-star experience. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Siena.

Julia is an expert hostess, friendly & knowledgeable with a real sense of fun. We were four adults who all had the best time learning to make pasta and tiramisu then getting to eat /taste /wine in a friendly, authentic restaurant. Lovely experience.
We had an absolutely wonderful time with our chef and the rest of our group! The location was impeccable, and the course was very well organized and paced. Learning how to make pasta was such a lovely experience, and the hands-on approach made it even more enjoyable.
I’m thrilled to say that I can now make fresh pasta for my family and friends! Ending the day with a delicious feast made the experience even more special.
I’m so glad I attended this class—it was the perfect way to complete my trip!
We had an AMAZING time here! The space was lovely, hosts were so much fun, and the recipes were delicious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try their hand at pasta making.
A fun and delightful experience. Our chef encouraged our efforts and we learned and laughed alot. Awesome event.
It covers most of the basics. You do not make Tiramisu. You watch the instructor mix ingredients in a bowl, you place a lady finger soaked in coffee in a glass then they add the mascarpone/egg mix. The pasta was the most engaging but they had all the fillings prepped and you basically made up the dough and prepped it. There is no cooking.
The setting and professionalism was top notch but we felt a little mislead it’s essentially a “how to make pasta” class. They do all the prep, make other key ingredients and they do all the actual cooking.
We booked this for our free afternoon in Siena and it ended up being the best few hours of our trip. Small group, relaxed pace, and the chef actually taught us instead of rushing through a demo. We made fresh pasta by hand and then tiramisu, and sitting down to eat what you have just made is half the pleasure. Good value, genuinely fun, and we came away able to repeat it at home. Book it if you have an afternoon free.
We realy loved making, and eating, the different kinds of pasta and the instructors were very kind and enthousiastic.
We had the most fun time at this cooking class! The instructor Simona was incredible and very encouraging. You will make three different types of pasta, focussing on the dough since the filling and the sauces are made by the host/restaurant. Making the dough and layering the Tiramisu was very fun in a cute working space, you also receive a "chef hat" and apron which we loved. This activity is definitely not suitable for vegans since the pasta prepared will be fresh egg pasta and the fillings included cheese which could not be seperated out. However, they were very accomodating of my vegetarian diet and prepared a delicious rich vegetable ragu for me when the beef ragu was served for the other guests. The pasta and Tiramisu was delicious and definitely a highlight of the experience! Again the instructor and all the staff were wonderful and we can thoroughly recommend this experience.
My partner and I had a lot of fun with this cooking class and it met our expectations. We enjoyed learning how to knead the pasta dough and pressing out/ cutting the shapes for tortellini, tagliatelle and ravioli. It was a heat wave in Siena and the space had adequate A/C which was definitely necessary and appreciated as A/C is impossible to find in Siena. The food tasted just "ok" at dinner but the class had maybe 14 people in it all making the pasta so I wasn't expecting perfection. If you are a serious chef, this is not the class for you, you would need a much longer experience. They pasta ingredients are already in a bowl and you mix them together, knead the dough and make the shapes. You are not really cooking as you don't make the sauce or actually see the kitchen itself. That being said, it was the perfect length and type of experience for us. Red wine was served in jugs at dinner and plentiful. Water was served during the pasta making portion. The chefs were helpful and moved around the room to make sure everyone knew what they were doing. I would recommend this for couples looking for a fun evening or families with kids.
I learnt so much and excited to try my skills when I am back home in Australia. Lots of food made to enjoy at the end of the cooking class aswell
The class was so much fun! The teacher was so great about helping us out and making sure we had fun while we learned . And then we got to enjoy what we made…
Great activity to do with family! So much fun and bonus you get to eat what you made! Beautiful location and all em were super nice! Would highly recommend it
We had an amazing time in this class and learned so much! From the moment we arrived, the staff and instructors made us feel so welcome, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
The time flew by while we were making the pasta, and the wait for it to be cooked was absolutely worth it because it was hands down the best pasta we've ever had! We got to make three different types of pasta, and our favorite was the tagliatelle, so be sure to save room for that... and for the delicious tiramisu at the end.
This was one of the highlights of our time in Siena, and we couldn't recommend it more. 100000% recommended!
The class was great! Learned a lot but the fun part was eating all the fresh pasta, ravioli and tortellini!! It was super delicious!!!!! I highly recommend!! We are so glad we did it!!
Joanna was a fantastic teacher and so much fun. Great family activity with my 20-year old sons. They enjoyed the class and then eating (of course).
As a family of 4 adults with mixed ability in the kitchen,
we all looked forward to this course.
The venue is lovely and easy to get to.
As we started a little late in a group of 14, our chef seemed under pressure to make up the time so it was very rushed and frantic! Instructions were poor at times so our experience in making pasta was not as enjoyable as we had hoped.
We did however get to sit down with our group who were lovely afterwards and enjoy the home cooked ravioli, tortellini and spagetti followed by tiramisu!
It is worth doing if you like cooking and work well under pressure.
Our family of 6 including a baby had the best time! We also had a ten year old. We highly recommend this tour!
We really enjoyed this experience! We liked that it was right in the heart of Siena so didn’t have to arrange any travel. Food turned out excellent and we can’t wait to try the recipes at home!
The experience was fine, but they had prepared so many things before we got there that it really wasn’t a cooking class. Could’ve been friendlier in terms of asking people where they were from, could’ve given a drink of water when we arrived. Just not that gracious. But food was good and good value when compared to other classss that are twice the price.
There’s no “welcome”, people just begin before everyone is there. No introduction, no get to know each other. The location was somewhere else than advertised, we had asked if we could come with a pram and didn’t get a response, and the acoustics in the room are so bad that you can’t really follow well. For me, the table I had to work on was unstable and rocked around dangerously. My station also didn’t have the pasta cutter so I had to ask somebody else if I could use theirs. It’s all a bit weird and hectic. However, the food and wine at the end is first class.
Total Group Size was a little larger than I expected - made it hard to hear the 2 instructors at times. Good hands-on fun. Would have liked a printed copy of our recipes. They provided a QR code but I couldn’t get a strong enough cell signal in the old building to check it. Lunch was fun but too long. Everyone was finished dining but no one cam to check on us. Finally they brought out our tiramisu and we were able to wrap up and leave. Great location in Siena. Fun instructors.
This was such a fun experience! Our instructor was amazing, personable and knowledgeable and we learned some great tips and techniques. The cooking space was light, bright and wonderful. It was so fun to eat our pasta and tiramisu at dinner afterwards. Our family of 7 adults had a great time. We highly recommend this class!
Great fun! Well organized and the staff are kind and helpful. Gave step by step instructions and demonstrarion. Loved it.
We had the most wonderful time learning how to cook Pasta and Tiramisu. Our chef was super friendly and made it such an enjoyable experience. Eating the pasta and tiramisu afterwards was equally as enjoyable. Highly recommend, great value
The facility was clean and very beautiful. Our cooking instructor had us a little rushed, I think she had another class soon after our 10:30 am class. I would recommend this class, it was fun and delicious to eat!
Incredible experience from start to finish! Joanna was an excellent teacher and a lot of fun! Knowing we were eating our creations afterwards made lunch that much more special. Highly recommend!
The experience was fun and our teachers were great. A great time in a great restaurant. You don't have to be a good cook for a good time
Super fun! Very well organized once you got to the restaurant! I think we could have saved time if we put our own chef’s hat and apron instead of having it done for us one by one!
But our lead pasta chefs both spoke clear English to understand and very helpful and encouraging of my skills!
We made 3 different pastas and Tiramasu to later eat together at their restaurant which was nicely set! It was really delicious and the pasta and sauce was really good! Tiramasu was also yummy!
Highly recommend this activity!
Staff is excellent. The small group was perfect and our pasta and tiramisu was delicious. Only disappointment was we didn’t make the sauces.
We made ravioli, tortelli, tagliatelle and tiramisu. Joanna was wonderful. Thank you.
Warm regards
